I do like the front sight upgrade and I’m sure I would love shooting with that rear sight but boy is it ugly!I like it. Smart upgrades...especially the hi-viz front site. S&W should have been making 'em like this years ago.
This isn't new. They've made runs of 642s with no stupid lock for awhile.I can’t believe they blocked the Hilary Hole.

32 H&R in this lineup though. This isn't new. They've made runs of 642s with no stupid lock for awhile.
Wouldn’t it be on the other side anyway? No Hillary Hole on this one
Take a look at the upgrades...the "hole-less" design is really not the story with this model. This isn't new. They've made runs of 642s with no stupid lock for awhile.
It would be if it had oneWouldn’t it be on the other side anyway?
Pardon the odd question, but what is that hole for on some J frames?Wow. They still offered a couple J frames sans hole. No clue why they can’t just ged rid of the hole all together.
I know their quality isn’t all there but make a new hole free stainless model 16 call it the 616 and I’ll give them some money.
It's the .32 that is, this is the first .32 Mag S&W has done in... a really long time.Take a look at the upgrades...the "hole-less" design is really not the story with this model.

You are absolutely right.Model 16 ???
Don't you mean Model 60 ???
(we're talking J frames here, right?)
The model 16 is a K frame, a K-32 Masterpiece to be specific.
Internal lock they started doing during the Clinton administration.Pardon the odd question, but what is that hole for on some J frames?
I’m well aware of the model numbers. I was trying to explain that if they started removing locks and added in 32 it would make a great way to reintroduce the K32. A gun that goes for wild money on the used market and they could finally make some customers happy and make money.Model 16 ???
