I just spent 10 minutes trying to get their website to list any kind of ammo, even if it's only to say 'not available' at my local store. But I couldn't get any listing of any kind of ammo at all (CCI, Federal, Winchester). They showed actual guns, and crimson trace grips, but no ammo.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Anyone else have this experience?

Walmart seems to only update their ammo availability once a week for the stores WHEN IT WAS LISTED! By the time it shows it's available it's gone!

They are no longer listing ammo on their website, the only way to find the page is to google "Walmart [Brand] [Caliber]" because Google has cached pages, however, if you check store availability it's listed as no longer in stock. Walmart is selling what they have left of their ammo stock and then will not be restocking any ammo of any kind. They have been swayed to not stock ammo any longer until Obama makes a decision on gun control. There have been a few pages online (shadily) confirming this. It seems Walmart may know something we don't in terms of law makers, etc.

Hellbound you are without a clue. Every single time I go to a Walmart (3-5 times a week) there is someone staring thru the glass looking at ammo. It comes in just goes out a whole hell of a lot faster. I hate Walmart with a passion but sorry your ammo conspiracy falls flat...

Last week when I went to the raynham super walmart, I asked an employee about their ammo restocking status. He got me the store manager who then informed me that walmart will no longer be restocking ammo until the whole gun/ammo ban spree is over. He showed me the memo that they got which stated that same info and also said that they will be selling ammo that's still in stock in the warehouses until they are out of stock. The memo also stated that the reasoning is because in case ammo is included in the final ban, they don't want to be stuck with it if they can't sell it.

I just bought 300 rounds if .45 today at Walmart... The website was useless and didn't even show prices before nor did they sell it online nor did they site to store. It just showed what brands they had prior.

On the bright side, I was in the Hudson, NH WM yesterday, and they have a big sign saying that they now sell beer by the keg.

Ammo was completely picked over.
