Good ol 38 spl. 357 mag was my first caliber to reload and by far my favorite.First rounds off the press View attachment 526451
Just got done sizing/priming a batch myself. At this point, I've now loaded more 38spl than 30-06, vaulting it into the cartridge I've loaded the most.Good ol 38 spl. 357 mag was my first caliber to reload and by far my favorite.
I think I’ve loaded more 38 than anything else too. I’ve done a fair amount of 45 especially when that was the only thing I was loading and shot my 1911 and my 625 every week.Just got done sizing/priming a batch myself. Its easy to load 38 more than 30-06. Heck i shoot more wax bullets from a 32sw than 30-06Just got done sizing/priming a batch myself. At this point, I've now loaded more 38spl than 30-06, vaulting it into the cartridge I've loaded the most.
30-06 was my second caliber, started for the M1, so it's got a time advantage. I only added 38spl like 18 months ago.Its easy to load 38 more than 30-06. Heck i shoot more wax bullets from a 32sw than 30-06

If I win an auction I'm going for, I'll be adding 38 S&W to the mix.
I'm pretty excited about 70s revolvers starting to become increasingly more C&R eligible.I need to replace my 38/357 platforms
I sold my revolvers except a old 38 snub
I want to pick up a 38/357 lever gun and a 6” revolver.
My ocd is kicking in.....why don't you fill the case from right to left instead of from both endsFirst rounds off the press View attachment 526451

Have not seen good cans in a whileWas checking through some ammo cans and found three mislabeled ones. One .50 can was labeled 22LR and turned out to be a full can of loose Bosnian 5.56. Another was a 30cal can labled .223 reloads and was actually full of loose Malaysian 7.62 NATO. The third was .50 can labeled .223 reloads and was full of loose Winchester 9mm.
I must have been distracted and didn't finish labeling the cans when consolidating stuff.
I've been changing my labeling from black sharpie to white paint marker and in the process I'm checking contents. So far so good.....all bonuses.
I still need to get about twentyfive 30cal cans though for linked ammo. Now the belts are layered in cardboard boxes and an old South African battlepack can. Need .30 cal cans to hook up to the 1919s.
HereHey, what is the best die/stem for reloading .223 77gr Sierra BTHP? I've just been using a Lee standard, but it leaves a ring on the bullet and I'd like to get a nicer die.
Very nice! Lots of space.I didn’t do any actual reloading but I spent the weekend rearranging and organizing the reloading room a/k/a “the basement”. I had to relocate the reloading bench and mounted all the presses to make them more easily accessible.
Remodeling the basement… just doing it in sections… so trying it keep the dust contained.Very nice! Lots of space.
What’s the plastic sheeting for hanging from the ceiling?
Are the mounted presses on the bottom for the little elves that you have working for you?!I didn’t do any actual reloading but I spent the weekend rearranging and organizing the reloading room a/k/a “the basement”.
