during my estimated 100,000 rounds or so loading 45/9 on a SDB, I have broken every part shown in your photo. Dillon always send out replacements without hassle. When the main frame part cracked, they paid to have it sent in for overhaul.Had to break down dillion square b for cleaning and replace wave bearings.
I have no idea how many rounds have been thru this press im the third owner. Went thru 2 family members before me. But from 80s. I my self have put over 20k thru it in a couple years.during my estimated 100,000 rounds or so loading 45/9 on a SDB, I have broken every part shown in your photo. Was able to get out today to run first rounds down this barrel. 20 rounds fired and these are first three groups at 100 yards. I'll admit a 12# 7 Saum isn't as forgiving as a 23# 6BR but so far very pleased! Im loading the whole lot of brass up pretty mild to fire-form and get rounds down barrel. These first shots are right around 2700fps. Im shooting for a load around 2900fps with a 175 Berger.Got 50 rounds loaded up for the 7 Saum
ADG Brass
Barnes 171gr Match Burners
59gr H4831sc
WLR primers
These should yield around 2800fps and will be used to start breaking on the barrel. Once I break 100 rounds ill break into the good stuff.

I think you need to do more load development….Those groups are horrible…Was able to get out today to run first rounds down this barrel. 20 rounds fired and these are first three groups at 100 yards. Pleasantly surprised seeing as I just picked a low charge to start with. These are Barnes 171gr match burners, I had pretty good luck with them out of my last 7saum barrel and pretty cheap comparatively to the Berger 175 elites I plan on using for hunting rounds.I think you need to do more load development….Those groups are horrible…
Dang dude that’s some crazy good accuracy/precision
Keep your eyes open stuff seems to be settle down a littleI pulled the reloading stuff out after about a 4-5 year break. Had a bag of 9mm to resize/deprime for subsonic loads. Started looking around at components online. I knew it was bad, but didn't realize it was this bad.
Did you buy a Garmin or one of the shoot through chronographs?I'm making a mild 308 load to practice my offhand shooting. It will be either 14.5 or 15.5 of A5744. Accuracy is the same so I'll pick whichever one gets me closest to 1600 fps. My chronograph crapped out so I won't know for about a week. That's when the new one is supposed to show up.
Man that little gun is tempting. Let us know how you like it.working up a load for my new S&W 432 UC in .32 H&R magnum. Using Accurate #5. looking for 1000 fps with Hornady 85g JHP.
Folded or roll crimp if folded open dump shot pull wad with needle nose if slug will have to cut. If roll crimp cut and reduce shot hight to reuse shellRandom question but is there a way to disassemble a shotgun shell without ruining the hull? Like if someone realized they used the wrong load or wad.
