Will more Youtube gun channels go to Pornhub?

I'd prefer a wholesome, non pr0n images of slavic chicks with AKs, but whatever, you guys are homoes

For those not aware, Youtube has announced that they are increasing the restrictions of firearm related content. Now it will be in violation of Youtube's terms if you post videos that feature the following:

-bump stocks or machine guns or suppressors
-manufacturing of bump stocks
-manufacturing of firearms
-detailed assembly and disassembly of firearms
-manufacturing of ammunition
-manufacturing of suppressors
-demonstrating how to modify semi auto guns into machine guns
-magazines over 30 rounds and the manufacturing of them

So I guess it's still OK to post bomb making, booby trap and safe cracking instructional videos

I wish I could say that this would make way for a censorship-free competitive site... But I don't see that happening. It would take huge capital to build and deploy and then it would have to be made profitable. Advertisers are just as big a bunch of pussies as Google. So they likely wouldn't go for sites hosting such content either. The gun enthusiast crowd isn't large enough to make a subscription-based site work. The fee required to support the infrastructure would be high enough it would discourage people from joining.

The information will still be out there hosted on private blogs and such. But the loss of one centralized place for all the video content is a huge blow. And because of Google's anti-competitive behavior what competition did exist was gobbled up long ago.

Vimeo may be an option in the short term. They seem to have a number of firearm related videos.

No way the likes of this stays up on you tube....

Come to think that Vimeo would be a good site to use. Although after saying that, I would think that they would chicken out and do the same. The opportunity is there for someone to create a site that would share the videos with much fewer restrictions while maintaining its network presence that is linked to a controversial category as pornhub would be. I think that with good marketing and good monetizing opportunity to the creators, it would have a chance.

To bring the thread back on track, is there another platform for Joe Schmo to upload to yet or are we still waiting for someone to make the move? It looks like I can’t on Full30, haven’t looked at The pr0n sites yet, for this reason at least.

Indeed, I wander if simple hosting, like Hdaddy or another host would work. We are not talking about millions of views.

I see a lot of interesting videos and it's literally few hundred views, may be thousands but over many years. Hosting plans have gone down in price and there are plans that offer decreases speed once you are over bandwidth limit, but still available. Also, I can see more people begging for money. If you get a few bucks every other view, that would be plenty to pay for hosting is payment or gift was made easy (i.e. gaypal button)

For the time being I'm going to save all my vids before tube goes full photobucket and investigate options. Also, it's pretty common nowdays for people to save vids as tube Nazis have this habit of removing dodgy videos right away.

The problem with that idea is a shitload of people wouldn't use it because there are likely a ton of content filters that block all the pornhub servers.

IMHO there needs to be another way, and youtube needs to get f***ed over this kind of thing. Most of the fun channels, even non gun ones, are facing demonetization in the face of political bullshit.

Once again I’m sure this falls under the easier said than done category but why can’t someone just make a gun friendly clone of YouTube?

TFB went full-retard with the April Fools articles.

It doesn't impress me at all. I don't know anybody who finds fake news (like 'April Fools' fake articles) amusing.
