Does anyone know if it was Windham or the distributors that doubled the dealer price of their guns in the past month? Something does not feel right.

A FFL friend in NY told me his largest distributor was back ordered on Windhams for forseeable future.
MSRP on MA compliant gun is $1,086.00.
I wanted a new one and didnt feel like waiting so I recently grabbed one off GB for around $1,500.00.
Missed out on 2 NIB off NES classifieds pre-Newtown that went for $850 - $950.00 I believe..........
My bet would be it's the distributors...What are you seeing out there?
