Anyone here interested in buying a James knife?
Not my new knife but…..
"It's not the length, it's the thickness!"Well that is exactly what I wanted: A work knife built like a fkn tank. Attractive but not so “pretty” that I’m afraid to use it and another magnacut so it’s pretty indestructible. Blade is 5/32 thick, easily the thickest knives I have.
Could be this one. I bought one about a month ago and it's a beast! Fit & finish is exceptional for $28.99!I remember seeing this video a while back. I still want to know what knife that dude has.

This sheath is super rugged too, some of the thickest leather I've seen and very well made. Probably the nicest sheath I have owned.
Mmmmm. Busse…This isn’t brand new, got it probably 6 months ago or so. Great for chopping and splitting wood while vacationing in Maine.

I've been putting these through their paces that past four days butchering two elk. Love them. The all shine. The large breaking knife is a beast. Excellent on the large cuts or if you need to shave a large chunk off something like the ribs. Blades really have not required touch up. In not sure I can tell the difference yet between the magnacut and the ball bearing steel. The butchering set.

I pocket carry my Dogbone all the time. A smaller profile sheath would be nice- I know someone who will make a leather one. I'll be watching for the next Dogbone DE drop. Agreed their work is top shelf. I now have several of their knives and don't see anything other than perfect machining and finishing.I love my Dogbone a lot more than I thought I would. Those dudes do some great work.
did you get the standard sheath or deep carry? the standard is about as small as a sheath can get and still be workable. the handle does stick up a bit but easily covered by a shirt.I pocket carry my Dogbone all the time. Those guys that compete almost all use custom knives. Many of them them make them themselves. Have you checked out that show Forged in Fire?I remember seeing this video a while back. I still want to know what knife that dude has.
