Searching for an aftermarket barrel for a G19, I see some barrels with a twist of 1/9 while others are 1/16. I'm very familiar with twist rates for rifles and understand them and their application, but not so much with pistol calibers as I've never tried variations and gauged their performance with different ammo. So, by logical sense, I'd imagine the faster twist will stabilize heavier bullets. I run primarily 115gr handloads for general plinking, but am I going to keyhole targets with a 1/16 twist running 147's?
