Anyone know where to get Unicorn Droppings (primers) for non ass rape pricing?

Anybody ever use Fiocchi Primers in small rifle?
I read one review hard to seat?
Not sure what machine they were using mine would be Dillon 550 or 650.

I have reloaded thousands of .223 and 5.56 cases using Fiocchi SR and SRM primers with no noticable difference in the seating process with my
Dillon 650

Our friends in the valley have some good sale prices on powder and primers, plus free shipping today. (Varget at less than $50 per pound, CCI SRP right at $.08 per shipped, etc...) Some CCI LRP in stock as well, but limited to 1k. I'm not real clear on how the new law will affect component sales but I will be plenty well stocked when the order I placed this morning arrives!

Cabelas had 7 or 8 of the Winchester #41's on the shelf half an hour before closing tonight (Friday).

The price on the shelf is $79, but they ring at $62.99.

There are no posted limits on quantity.

UPDATE: I think they restocked. There were 8 boxes of #41's as of 1:30 this afternoon but they were stacked differenty.
Just a followup on these. Check your lot numbers as people are reporting that the following lot codes have failures, which etch the bolt face:

WLC 23E002 - 725; 727; 732; 734; 740

I have 732 from this purchase and will be contacting Winchester to get a refund/replacement.

I have spoken with Winchester about the issue and relayed the concerns from the various reloading forums. The Winchester rep seemed responsive.

After a bit of backand forth I told him I would load some ammo at 5.56 pressures and report back my findings.

You're welcome.
if it is same shit that is used for regular steel ammo, then it is not going to be reliable. i was shooting some steel .223 ammo just 2 weeks ago, and from a hundred or so i wasted i think 4 or 5 had a good smack on a primer but did not go off from a first hit. fired from a second. and that was with a good larue trigger, a triggertech is weaker and would do even more light strikes.
CCI never ever does that. if i reload for myself and waste my own time that is way more expensive than any primer - it it just a waste to use subpar materials...

It's not the same shit.
National Champions were using Wolf Small Rifle Magnums.

may be. if you got it and can run it with triggertech and confirm if it works ok - it would be helpful, would be good to know. i thjink i am still with 5-6 boxes of cci #450, so shouyld be ok for a while, as i do not mass reload anymore like i used to.

I don't know what triggertech is, but they worked with Geisselle, Milazzo-Krieger, RR, etc triggers.
Like I said; never, ever, did one fail to go off. I personally used probably 10K of them, before I found Wolf primed brass at prices I couldn't pass up. Not blasting ammo; these were for our 600yd "accuracy" stuff. Took them to Camp Perry for years. If they were junk, we wouldn't have taken that chance.

To each their own. I'm just passing along the info because people were asking where to buy primers.

to be clear - i am grateful and bought 1 pack. thx for the info. free shipping and no hazmat - a good deal.

Pat, I don't know why I had a problem with the large pistol primers but based on your recommendation, I'll try some. If I have a problem, I'll use them to load 9mm for one of the open bolt subguns.

Well, we're working on the assumption that they are the same as the old Wolf SRM's. If they are those, then they're good to go.

If they're not, then they are still 5000 primers for $260 DELIVERED. I haven't seen a price that low in years.

those are rifle primers, they will be tad taller than pistol ones for 9mm.
