Are M107s legal to ship into MA?

What range do you shoot at? Doesn’t really make sense to be shooting .50 cal at 100 yards.
And a damn good way to take a ricochet to the pumpkin. There’s a video on youboob of a guy taking one that takes his ballcap off his melon. But I’d have to assume that the OP knows what he’s doing. Not too many inexperienced shooters go for anti material guns.

yeah, but if I had a nickel for everytime I have been muzzle swept by some yahoo with a M107 howitzer at the range.....

To answer the original question.

No, it is too salty for MA:

“ “Assault-style firearm”, any firearm which is:
(a) a semiautomatic, centerfire rifle with the capacity to accept a detachable feeding device and includes at least 2 of the following features: (i) a folding or telescopic stock; (ii) a thumbhole stock or pistol grip; (iii) a forward grip or second handgrip or protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand; (iv) a threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor or muzzle breakor similar feature; or (v) a shroud that encircles either all or part of the barrel designed to shield the bearer’s hand from heat, excluding a slide that encloses the barrel.“

If the brake was pinned and welded, it might be okay.

The last line about the heat shield barrel shroud is clearly an accidental inclusion from the pistol ASF definition, but it is in the rifle section. It is actually law. I don’t know how one could define the handguard as anything but a barrel shroud designed to shield the bearer’s hand from heat. But it could really apply to any rifle handguard. So perhaps everyone should just ignore it. It seems like FFLs are ignoring it.

While at Fort Sill
Some Civi Mechanic had a fight with his wife, Got drunk....
Came on base and took a 155 self propelled that was in the maintenance yard for a spin
They tear gassed the shit out of him
Keep your single shot
The Ma Deuce is the king when it comes to fun at the range

People are saying that a .50 autoloader rifle with a massive brake is not for 100 yards, but I would argue that disabling a vehicle at maybe not usually 100 yards but 300 is....feasible? Sure it can reach way further than that but it's engine block-shattering capabilities is what it's built for. With a low magnification optic and some practice you can easily do doubles on these guns. It's an autoloader, made for fast follow up shots. How far away are you realistically going to be able to hit a moving vehicle? Even if you miss the rotating assembly all you have to do is cause a loss of oil pressure and the vehicle will basically roll to a stop.

Who knows, you might have to one day shoot a hostage taker through a brick building at 50 yards so you should practice at that range.

You need spotters for your M107 right? So you could have arty spotters with Barret M107s.

Maybe you could get some of these too

Then when you've dispatched your enemies and it's time to party you could get out some of these

But where can you shoot an M2 at a decent range in NH?
How do you define a "decent range"? We have a 400 yd range at Londonderry and I'm unaware of any caliber restrictions on that range. There is a waiting list for membership however.
