Might be more quiet and less annoying to shoot.

Why the Witt Machine SME not the VG6 with CAGE device?

Reviews show the Witt SME brake is obnoxious with sound and concussion without the shroud on, and provides pretty much no muzzle rise reduction with the shroud on. VG6 with CAGE device (which I have) still works well as a muzzle brake with the sound mitigation installed, and provides good side concussion and blast reduction - best of both words.
