It isn’t crazy. But it ain’t gonna happen in this climate. This article is a pretty good account of the race between Robert Francis and Cruz and exactly how close O’Rourke came to beating Cruz.

‘Beto’ has some major headwinds. Things are different now. The climate has completely changed with the stolen election and a year of muffin head’s failures.

In addition to that, everyone now knows who he really is now after his failed Senate campaign and his joke of a run for POTUS in 2020. There is no fooling Hispanics into thinking that he is one of them or that he would be anything near a moderate in TX.

Hollywood Elites and Soros could throw $100M at this guys campaign but I don’t see how he becomes governor, at least this time around.

I lived in MA all my life, born and raised in Lawrence. I watched the anti-gun crowd pass Bartley Fox and then went for a complete handgun ban for civilians a couple of years later. We had plenty of anti-gun police chiefs and licensing officers, many definitions and opinions on the meaning of "reason for issuing license" on the back of the old style LTC, "employment only" stamped on the front of old style LTCs etc. Back then, a BB or pellet rifle was treated the same as a .30-06 and a BB or pellet pistol was treated the same as a ..45. People actually got arrested and charged for possession of air and CO2 powered guns without an FID or LTC. Maura is certainly an anti but not much more than her many predecessors.

I’m not sure about guns but one night when traveling I had VICE news on at the hotel. They were doing a puff piece on Robert Francis when he was running for el pres.

It clearly showed he had a huge Tundra with aftermarket wheels/tires sitting in his driveway and it shows him driving it during interior shots. Interestingly enough anytime he was shown getting out a car it was a minivan. Guess he didn’t want the world to know he was driving a gas guzzling V8.

Just another minor example of how utterly in the bag the media is.

You're making the common mistake of looking in the wrong direction to see what's happening. It's not the damn Yankees, it's your own public schools and libraries. If yo don't believe me, go to your public library and look at the books in the children's section. I did that when my grandson was 3 and they were living in Alabama. Not in a big city, but in a rural county in the most conservative area of the state. We took him to story hour and while there I looked at the books in that section.

I was horrified at the Leftist tripe that was available. That was several years ago, and I expect that it's even worse now.

Librarians are cut from the same cloth and taught the same crap as are teachers. It's just that no one pays attention to them since they don't infect an entire class at a time. They are more insidious as they select what books are available for kids to read.
