I had an IT job in Boston for 8 years. Only reason I tolerated it was that boss let me arrive at 5 AM and leave by 2 PM. Traffic was never an issue. I worked on the campus of a major hospital. My private office was in a building that some years ago was a patient ward but now used for offices. The office had a full bathroom with a shower in it. I'd arrive at 5 AM change into gym shorts and walk up and down the 9 flights of stairs ten times that were right outside my office door. Then I'd go into my office take a shower, take a 2 hour nap on my couch, then change into work clothes at 8 AM as the normies began to arrive. After my kids all finished private high school my wife got tired of me ranting about all the libtards I worked with and said, "Why don't you quit and go back fishing?" That sounded like a great idea so I did.

Dude, I have done plenty of dating in Boston.

It is packed with women.
99% are crazy AF and hate guns.
99% of the 99% will literally have a mental breakdown if you say the name "Trump".
Most will look at you like a piece of sh*t if you hunt.
At least 50% will think you are a scumbag if you drive a truck.

If you are a good looking guy and just want to get laid, you will do great with a dating app.

Barrets in West Bridgewater is a great place. Great ratio of women to men, none of the bullsh*t city stuff.

If you are into Liberal girls, there are a sh*t ton.
If you are into REAL women, there are very few.

For those that don't know, there is a FB group called "are we dating the same man" or something like that. Only for women, there are some 70K+ Boston women in that group (I know because I know a woman in it and she tells me all about it).

The sh*t some of these women post in there is horrible. They will destroy some dudes.

Some dudes deserve it they are scum. But others did nothing wrong, so now 70K+ women get a one sided story.

They can post anonymous too. So they will destroy you and don't have the guts to let others see their name or pic, but your pic is out there now.

If a MA gun shop sells you an on-list Glock (most of them), you are the victim of an unfair and deceptive trade practice. If the shop sells you a new model not on the list, the shop, and not you, has violated the MA law (assuming all mags trasferred were of the junior varsity variety), plus you were also the victim of an unfair and deceptive trade practice.

Not so with AWs, where there is legal liability on the part of the buyer if the item sold does not meet one of the MA exemptions.

Think about it this was ... not legal to sell but legal to possess.

You can spend the next year reading the MA law over and over again. You will not find anything banning Glocks or revolvers from ownership.

But you will find that there is a list that tells dealers what they can sell. And you will find that there is a second list that has seniority over the first list. So on one list a gun can be OK, but if the other list says "NO", the dealer can't transfer it.

Why, you might ask ... Great question, because MA likes to keep it stupid and complicated. Part of it is because the people writing these laws are idiots and part is to f*ck with people.

Some guns are stupid and dealers might be willing to work around.

Example: Buckmark. The idiots at Browning submitted them by model name and they only submitted 2 models. One is not sold anymore. But all the Buckmark handguns are the same except for minor stuff like the grip. So now we are stuck only buying one buckmark. But what if someone is selling you a frame as just a "Buckmark". Can it be transferred? ... that is for the dealer to decide. You can't get mad at the dealer, they are running a business and get to decide what they do. If you don't like it, get an FFL and run it the way you think should be run.
