Hovan was first charged with assault and battery after an incident at his home in Rochester on Nov. 6. Police later removed about 40 firearms and some illegal ammo magazines, which were not involved in the incident.

That's how they get you on post ban mags.

Not the mags alone, but as long as they are confiscating based and domestic violence - they'll charge you.

I presume said mags were easily identifiable as post ban other than the fact they hold more than 10 rounds.
They said he had legal mags, too - so he must have had some pre bans.

As this could happen to any of us (minus the post ban mag possession - hopefully) - I'm going to follow this case.

I wonder who his attorney will be.
Not sure if he is more worried about the guns and mags or the bruise on the girls face.
