Anyone have any experience with this bag? I'm looking for a new backpack to keep in my car. My current little sling bag doesn't hold enough stuff for the family these days.
 
Damn. I've forgotten which ears I hate. Peltor or Howard Leight. One of them just DOES NOT FIT a normal human head. The ears flare out at the bottom, making them useless. Pretty sure it's Peltor, but I could bet wrong.

Why do I care? I've got TWO sets of the awful ones and ONE set of the good ones. I really could use another good one. Maybe the sale will still be here in the afternoon.

If it helps, my experience is that the Peltor (Sport RangeGuard) fit slightly better, but I prefer the sound in the Howard Leight (Impact Sport). The Howard Leight ear cup is more like a rectangle, so the seal breaks more easily in the back corner, near my jawline. Fore reference, my head is "Medium" in most things.

I'll be buying one of these, to try out. Probably karma the kids' ears

it is same garbage as anything else marked at 22db. like those zohans - all those muffs are the same. they do work, but, at 22db you want a set of foam plugs if sitting next to anything decently loud.

Those will have the same corner problem as the Howard Leights for me. If they work, they look like a great deal. I'm actually mostly, wearing my custom molded foamies at this point. The electronics mostly are for when I have less experienced shooters who can't manage to keep their ears on.

i still have those zohans, and have black walker`s razors - had howard leights and peltors and kept cheapest ones - as they all were same bad.
ones with beefier muffs work way better but very problematic to shoot rifle prone or from a benchrest.

LOL. Well they pissed me off as much as being forced to own a Yugo. . . or a leCar. I just couldn't figure out why someone would market a product that clearly does not fit the majority of the population.

Now I can toss the 2 HL's because this'll be my 3rd Peltor. Enough to go to the range with the troops. Having electronic hearing is imperative when I want them to hear the range commands.

honestly, i don't care for any of the muffs. Shopping for a decent in the ear solution. you're right, when taking classes, you need to hear. helps at the range too, and will be great hunting
