Ever think about thinning the herd?

I love my P7, sadly it’s a PSP and not an M8

I lusted over the m8 in the 80’s. But did not have the money for one.

Glad I have one, wish I had more and the whole set.

BTW, I’m in NH, not MA. You MA guys like to charge a premium to other MA guys. A PSP isn’t worth as much as a P7M8 and I can buy a P7M8 for $2800 all day long off Gun Joker if I wanted to (which I don’t if I don’t have to).

After being forced to do it like twice, because of economic BS, never again... I usually don't even sell my own guns anymore unless it involves a friend or family at this point. And then again I also rarely buy things I'm going to hate or not use so there's that.... it's not like the old days where I would make some impulse buy that turned out to be garbage.
I’ve had a ton of those types of purchases. Now I stick to what I know and have researched the hell out of.
Lots of waisted money of the years

I am not in a rush to sell it. I'm not in MA and you asked me to sell it to you. So why don't you just buy it off gunbroker? Maybe you need to put your big boy pants on. Did you think you were getting a discount? LOL

My mother always wanted me to downsize. She would often ask how many guns I had, and I always responded, "a lot" and left it at that. Now I would do anything to make her happy. After we lost her, I just tossed a lot of my things...I expect more to follow. Nothing I own is more important than my parents. If selling a gun would get them something they need, I won't hesitate.

My mother would often ask how many guns I had as well. (she hasnt in a while for some reason) I would tell her I only have two hands so after 2 what difference does it make? For some reason she has some number in her head and anything above that sets off her maternal worrying instincts.

My mom has always been more concerned about knife ownership than gun ownership, but since I'm well into double digits on both and she lives 2,000 miles away, I'm not all that worried.

Her: "How many knives do you have?"
Me: "What answer do you want to hear, mom?"

Whether the question is “how many guns do you own” or “how many knives do you own”, I can honestly answer “I don’t know.” I haven’t counted either in a long time.

You like to pay more for less accuracy?

You must like to pay more to drive slower and less too, which means EV's are right up your alley.
I don't always buy a gun for accuracy. I don't expect all my guns to be sub MOA. Different guns habe different uses.

With your way of thinking, why would anyone buy a Tommy gun, or a musket, or an M1, or build an SBR or a PCC ...

Cuz a fool and his money are easily parted.

I get it tho, you think the AK is a sexy Russian bitch who likes it dirty and is flexible, able to fold into new positions and you're willing to pay that premium over the old ball and chain AR that prefers clean fun and demands lots of aftermarket toys to keep her happy.

I guess I just have a hard time getting up the interest in the AK because it's like a Tinder date with only a headshot, then you met and realize this bitch is cracked out whore and has a body count higher than a porn star. At least with the KS47 it's like an AR that identifies as an AK, a transgewehr if you will, is new, young, fresh, but very passable and with none of the liberal college indoctrination.

I inherited all of my dad's guns. Now, there are some I won't ever part with (our sequential serial number HK VP9s that we bought at the same time over at MFS, for instance), but he also had a fondness for .40 guns that he, oddly enough, didn't shoot all that much, which I want nothing to do with. I sold a shotgun last week that I bought years ago at Blue Northern (RIP) in the hopes I'd get into clays, but never did.

Like I said, you posted pictures of a PSP for sale. I’m not interested in a PSP. I’m looking for a P7M8. You apparently don’t know the difference between them. PSP has a heel mag release, and smaller trigger guard without the plastic protector which is handy when these get hot and they get hot quick. I want an M8 that has a traditional thumb mag release, larger trigger guard and plastic protector. I can buy a PSP if I wanted one (which I don’t) for $2500 on Gun Joker. I’m not looking for a discount. I’m looking for a fair price. Unless your PSP was personally owned by Larry Vickers or something, your price is high. Also, if you’re not local, I’m not interested even if you did have an M8 to sell. This is NES, not Alabama Shooters. I’m not interested in mailing a check or money order for $3k to some jamoke in Alabama I’ve never met before. In what world would it make sense to buy your's, from a guy with ZERO feedback, in AL, and not the one listed below?

I've though about it from time to time and then come to my senses so, barring any financial hardships I don't plan on getting rid of anything at this point, in fact I still have a fairly good size list of shit I still want to get. My kids want a lot of what I have so when I'm gone they can have it.

Been thinking about offloading the surplus stuff I don’t shoot much anymore. Couple of mosin carbines, sks etc, but I struggle to go through with it lol. Also norinco copy of the browning SA-22. Such a cool design. Have a llama .22 mini 1911 been trying to transfer to an NESr for about 2 years now 😂

I shoot .40. Got any cheap ones that u wanna let go?

I have sold a bunch over the years to up grade my mil surp collection. out of them there are probably five that I regret selling off. I have a 1941 Johnson that I go back and forth on, it was always on my bucket list. I have had it for a few years, but it is getting harder to get replacement parts for. ( I shoot everything I own ) And the prices of them are insane, I could triple my money on her. But she is such a unique rifle, so back in the safe she goes.

I didn't post anything for sale. I just said I had one. Reading comprehension is your friend. You asked me about selling it. I posted pictures for@drgrant to see. You never bothered to see where I was. You're either drunk posting, or your mouth goes faster than your brain. Why would you expect a fair price if you're the one saying sell it to me?

This conversation started when I said I wanted to know if anyone would sell me a P7 M8 or P7 M13 (see post #44 in the thread). You then posted “you had a P7 M8 you were planning to sell this year”, (your post #49) to which I said “let’s go”. Then you posted pictures of a PSP, (post #58) not a P7M8. Yeah, why would I expect a fair price? Good question. I guess because I assume most folks on here are fair, reasonable people and not everyone on here are whores. F me, right?

Take a look at the classifieds. Lots of post of nice firearms at rape prices. Some to the point of being ridiculous
“Some”? The classifieds here are worse than a MA gun show. A bunch of fudds selling overpriced neutered garbage, minus the nazi memorabilia and beef jerky. The dealer classifieds have better prices than the private party classifieds. MA classifieds act like there is no gun market outside MA.

Sold my Savage 99E and Ithica Deerslayer many years ago because I needed the money and regret it.
I'll never sell another firearm again. I have a few that I haven't used in a few years, but won't get rid of them.
I'll just get a bigger safe.

When Zero Hour Arms was open, Jim would joke that I used to rent guns. I buy one, shoot it for a year and sell it for the next flavor of the month. This year I really fell in love with Sigs and CZs. That turned out to be just a fling and I'm back to my first love the 1911, and I'm focusing my collection there. Sure the rifle dad taught me to shoot with is on the DO NOT SELL list, but everything else is just stuff.

You almost want to tell guys if they put $600 worth of parts on a $550 Glock, its still just a Glock. Youre never going to get $1150 for it
