That would help with the ban on assault style firearms. It will not help on the evil use of the roster to restrict what MA licensed Dealers can sell and transfer. The state still has the roster as the point of control to stop you from getting what you want
 
This is one example of many where SCOTUS has failed us. Constitutional rights are controlled by the Federal Government. The Leftist states have long held that the 2A does not apply to citizens and therefore States can regulate firearms. Its BS of course but they keep doing it.

Heller decided that the 2A does apply to citizens. Except Leftist States ignore it as we have seen here in MA.

If I am being deprived of ANY of my Constitutional rights I believed once that SCOTUS would step up and slap hard the Leftist States involved in denying its citizens their rights. But they haven't and so there has been no reason for the Left to stop.

We just went through this with SCOTUS stating nothing in the Constitution protects Abortion and Roe V Wade was SCOTUS making up law. Therefore the power of abortion was returned to the states.

Every American is protected by the Federal Bill of rights which is clearly spelled out. States have NO LEGAL RIGHT to alter, change, ignore the bill of rights as its FEDERAL. This is exactly why Leftists Courts say the 2A does not apply to citizens as it allows them to say its a state regulated issue.

I simply want the bill of rights that are federally protected rights, out of the states hands.

I think saying the states can't ban firearms comes a lot closer to interstate commerce than abortion or homegrown pot
 
The Bill of Rights, especially the first 10, were laid out as fundamental rights. They are Federally protected as our forefathers intended. They are this way to shelter them from peoples opinions, state opinions, opinions of those who happen to control power on any given day.

The States have no legal authority to eff with the Bill of Rights.
 
Way back when the MA Supreme Court ruled that the US Constitution 2A did not apply to the general public many said how can they be so stupid. I said at the time JFC they ain't stupid they know exactly what they are doing. They must separate MA citizens from the US Constitution in order to make it a States Right issue and therefore legally allowed to determine what rights States can control for its citizens for firearm ownership.

I have never understood how some can't get their heads around a very clear issue regarding the US Constitution.

For arguments sake.. How is MA denying you your 2A rights?

I'm playing devil's advocate and in no way saying MA laws makes sense, but ...

This would be good if:

1). SCOTUS rules that AWB bans violate the constitution.
2). Federal law prevent them from trying to add it back in again.
3). If ATF were a real agency they would arrest and imprison blue state legislators and governors for violation of the federal laws. It would only take 1 or 2 in prison and the democrats would have to give up the easy campaign cash.

4). If you starve democrats then it will be extremely difficult for them to win elections because the campaign cash is easy money. The nuttier left wing ones will pick up their ball and go home.

There has to be real pain for the dick sucking Bloomberg addicted democrats otherwise they'll just flail over and over again.
