Glock 19

The mag release is actually a drawback for me because I don’t use them except when cleaning or assembling. For reloading I learned by racking the slide. It can be a hair slower, but less chance of a fumble.

I do concede your point that it’s a better design though. The OG slide release on Glocks is practically useless.
Im talking about the mag release not the slide catch. Although i think the slide catch has also been enlarged?

slide catch is the same but ambi, all of mine now have the extended oem ambi slide thing on them, I do it in the same shot as the trigger etc.

People need to like forget all of the above printed faggotry, do some legwork and then absolutely none of this matters. Jesus f***ing christ. [rofl] Like just stop, stop promulgating it like its gospel. Are you people really that dense that youve carried around this baggage for that long? [rofl] Wow.
Hahaha I used to be a huge Glock Fanboi. 3x G19 G4s, G26 G4, G30 G4, G21 G4. Then got rid of all of them in favor of more refined options. Only Glock I still own is a Sub2000 lol. Glocks work of course. They're the Toyota Corolla of guns and for most poeple that's what they need and want. But the Perfection fanboi community seem to think that in an inevitable SHTF scenario, Glocks are the only ones that will function and everything else will crumble which is so far from true.

I went in the other direction. (I had like thousands of dollars worth of fancy ass HK and Sig handguns (including a MK23 even) all mostly gone now). You will be back eventually.

It's not about anything "crumbling" its about realizing that most people horrendously overcomplicate everything.

$400 is a fair price for a gently used Glock with not a lot of holster wear and 2 magazines.

If they are 15 round magazines you scored, if not still a fair price

If you have the factory box even better.

Clean it, dab of that copper colored grease they use where they say to put it, and you'll be fine.

Get a GOOD holster for it and don't "Gucci it up" it is a good practical proven gun just as is.

I thought that copper glitter was anti seize, not lube, and you don't need that stuff? Why put more on it?

Just bought a Glock 19 gen 3( I think it’s a gen 3 at least) for 400 bucks new to guns …. Did I get a solid deal … or hosed
I sold my Gen 4 Glock 19 and bought a Gen 3.

I might be weird, but I like Gen 3's. I have a G32, G19 and a G17, all Gen 3's. I just shoot them better,

I bouugh the Gen 3 last year for $400 so there's that

I'd love to know why they used it in the 1st place.
20 years ago I met a guy at a gun show who once worked at Glock.

He says they put the copper colored grease on for long time storage.

It's anti-seize.

So a Glock can be stored in unpleasant conditions and the metal in the slide wont get stuck to the rails on the frame.

They also said that in Glock Armorers class.

Gen 3 is alot more easy to modify with a million parts out there and if you want to mess around with guide rod springs, new aftermarket frames...etc.

That said you can buy a plug to make a Gen 4 take a Gen 3 guide rod, or vice versa.

I just outfitted myself with few Gen 3 17's for the house/SHTF/forever Go bag.....with spare parts and frames and a bunch of mags, they also fit my PCC...which the idea.

I just got a Like New Gen 4 - 19 with no wear at all and 3 mags in box for $350 at Ass Pro. Looked like it was never fired. I thought it was a great deal.

I'd say you got an OK deal for MA......but who cares...use it.

The 5s are nice though. Mag release is a lot larger and i like the front slide serations.
Gen 4 has the bigger mag release yet retains most of the Gen 3 parts with exception of the guide rod.

Take 3 minutes and a few bucks and throw an extended in a gen 3 and its fine.

All my gen 3 s get extended mag release, bigger slide release and night sights the day I get them. Takes 1/2 hour at most and costs about 65-70 bucks.

Where, in Mass, can one obtain an RXM?

Extra points if street price is anywhere near $350, or LEO status isn't required.
Simply order it online and have it shipped to your dealer. Locked and Loaded was cheapest for me.

I got one and thought its got a lot of features for the $$$.

I didnt like the trigger on RXM......heavy creep.......and the upper did not fit my SCT frame (already had) , which would have made
the trigger much better....and it didn't fit my favorite holster for a 19...so 0 for 3.......I ended up selling it.

Thank you, friend. I'm familiar with buying pistols, generally and in Mass particularly.

As this isn't on any of the rosters yet, and I'm in Mass - I'm calling bullshit.

I would like to be wrong. Please tell me what I'm missing.

Some queers will only buy the newest generation Glocks because they think [...] a new “gen” will make them shoot better.

Wow, you're so good at shooting that you don't know what a mag release is. What a f#cking queer.

Well. If you cant find a dealer that will transfer then your screwed.

Usually Rugers are pretty quick to go on and they make a crip mag model. Guess your waiting

Who are you talking to? Quote function is useful if there’s more than 2 people in a thread.
Probably me. Trolling from freedomland.

Hes butthurt but Ill apologize I thought Ruger would have had these approved by now. I thought people had them. But maybe its people with non retard FFLs and I think some still arent caring about rosters.

Id just buy the Glock 19 anyway its approved, no lines no waiting
