Original matching Model 1891 Three Line Rifle, from the Tula Arsenal in 1898. All Tula parts. It had to be a Japanese capture from the Russo-Japanese war of 1905, or it would have been upgraded by the Russians. Early flat sight leaf, not retrofitted for the 1908 Spitzer bullet. No crossbolt in the stock. Magazine swivel, and no sling slot escutcheons.
