How our media celebrates 2000 dead soldiers

Yeah, and they forget each and everyone of those service members is a human being, with family and friends. It royally pisses me off. If it was one of their family members you can bet they wouldn't be reporting it like that. [evil]

I've heard that this coverage of the war is due to the current leaders of the main-stream media influence from growing up with the coverage of the war in Vietnam.

Many will say they were appauled that in those reports US body-counts and other casulties were minimised or underplayed, while enimy body-count and casulties were inflated.

Hell just watch "Good Morning Vietnam" for that political commentary.

Well now they're doing the EXACT opposite. Now they do all they can to inflate the casulty-count for US soldiers, and they minimise any enimey casulties or military victories.

One extream to another doesn't mean it's good or moral.

Personally our media needs to stay out of it and let our service members do their jobs, and not worry about whether they are being PC enough for the rest of the world.
