How to tell if in Intrac imported Maadi is pre 94 ban?

I have a question for you guys. Interested in an Intrac imported Maadi ARM AK with SN: AC00641XX. It has bayonet ears shaved off and is post 89.
Seller claims is from 1993. How can I confirm this? Any SN ranges?

why do you care? i would force the seller to produce the hard evidence the item is indeed pre-ban. does he have a certified letter proving it?
when a police will charge you claiming it is not a pre-ban weapon - what will _you_ have to prove it is in fact such a thing?
