I have been bitten with the AR bug!!!

I dealt with Pete when I bought my AR-I HIGHLY reccomend him. I searched high and low, and did MUCHO research (even posted a few times on AR15). I ended up dealing with Pete and bought a Mass compliant Rock River Arms National Match A2. I love it! I compared it to Bushy's, Colts, DPMS, etc. For me, I liked the RRA the best. And the 2 stage trigger is as nice as it comes stock (IMO).

I too have the bug. I chose a M4A3 Bushmaster and love it. Their tech support is incredible. The only thing that bums me out is that I have a post ban MA version. The only thing that really bugs me is the noncollapsible stock.... I feel jipped!

When did that policy go into effect?

As an alternative, contact this person (Pete in New Hampshire).

He'll even build one to your specs and will ship it to an FFL in MA.

I need to stay away from NES for a while... it's not going to be good for my marriage... my goodness, I want one of these...

[Deep breath]I don't actually need one.

Geez. A four page long thread about ARs without anyone once using the term "poodle shooter".

This may be a first anywhere outside of AR15.com. [smile]

Actually, this touches on a key decision point. If you want a target rifle, a two stage trigger might be best. If you want a rifle for practical matches a nice single stage is the way to go.

I have decided to get a Bushmaster M4 a3 with a 16" barrel, removable handle. Apparently Rock River Arms will not ship to Mass. Where is the best place to purchase this? The best price I have found is $899.00.

ar15sales.com

pete in NH is one of the largest RR dealers out there.

i didnt see the other references before i posted this, but Ive personally dealt with pete, picked up a rifle from him.Great guy.

I own two colts, they were deals at the time, when I buy a NM shooter, itll will be RR, and from Pete. Unless Shadowboxer need ALOT more bark mulch.

+1 Pete in NH.
