The Henry Supreme Lever Action Rifle.

Is it just plain ugly compared to the classic lines of a Marlin or Winchester?
Is it just awkward?
I can't decide, but I think I might want one.
Have fun and share your opinions and thoughts on this. At the moment I think it is ugly, but is this one of those items that you come to love over time?

Thanks for playing.

It's worse than ugly. It's ugly and stupid. Why have a lever on a magazine fed rifle? It looks like a BAR raped an 1894 and the offspring was a retarded half breed. It's a red head with an afro, freckles and big lips that can't play basketball.

Looks better than anynof the tactical BS lever actions everyone is making.

But it doesn't look as good as a classic lever action

But you are also shooting 556/223, so it needs a mag. They could have made it nicer looking like the Long Ranger. Not even sure why this rifle exists when they have the Long Ranger.

It takes AR mags and is 5.56 or 300blk. For some states with restrictions on mag capacity for semi autos it makes sense.

This. I always considered a lever action as the semi auto that flies under the radar of stupid politicians. Specifically in states like Mass. This just ups is game a bit. Not pretty, but functional. I'd buy this over a stupid AR with a pinned this and a pinned that.

If you put a flush mag in it it would look better imho I am also any a big Browning BLR fan but I also like lever guns with a English stock
The Long Ranger has a flush mag.

I don't understand the purpose of this rifle, why not just sell an extended mag for the Long Ranger? ... I don't own one, so I don't know, but maybe the lever doesn't allow for a longer mag?

My guess ... because they wanted to release something new, because consumers always go towards the "new".

I get what market they are going after with this (gay states) and thats all good......but I'd rather have it in semi auto better looking.

Realistically it would be similar to the old WInchester 1907. I like that gun.....I think it would be neat.

How about just the Homesteader in 300BLK. Or anything else but fxcking 9mm? Not sure what they are waiting for.

Us old people would love a Ruger Deerfield Carbine replacement in .44mag, 300BLK, .223, or 10mm I'd buy it all day long if you could actually kill something like a deer with it. But maybe Im the only one....and every one else is OK using an ugly AR platform carbine/pistol/SBR instead of a nice wood gun.

Likely one of those guns you have to see in person and handle before you can really say its a joke or not.

The supreme has no exposed hammer.....aluminum receiver......uses an ar bolt.....and takes actual ar mags.....all 4 of these features are not found on the long ranger.

Among other specifications too. This rifle has an adjustable trigger pull and the lever is a short throw so the use of extended magazines is possible. Ugly? Awkward? Who cares? Certainly not me.
A little background. I shoot a lever .410 for skeet and have a blast with it. I also have an order in for one of these rifles and will report back once I have it zeroed in.

It’s ugly, ya. But it’s almost ugly enough to look cool in a way. If it’s very practical, I think it looks good enough to roll with.

I watched a video about this the other day (last week). Issues were shown if you tried to rapid fire/mag dump it. Pinching of fingers/hand.

IMO, it's more of a novelty gun than anything else.

Shooters outpost had a ton of these in stock 2 weeks ago. 5.56 and 300blk

I fondled them. The lever is super smooth and yes the throw is very short and quick.

Possible you could post a link to the vid? I fondled 1 a couple weeks ago and while I wasn't firing it the lever seemed very smooth.......was the pinching your describing happening against the magazine?
