Well, there's a reason why I've got several firearms that I acquired by Private Purchase. NO paper trail. On several of them, the seller doesn't even know my name, or any clue exactly where in VT I live (or even for sure I live in VT).

And Jim Conway wonders why I own a certain POS handgun. Better armed with a POS than disarmed.

Will I be a criminal? Maybe, but a better term will be Patriot, since I'll be defending the Constitution, and my Freedom.

Oh, just so everyone knows, what I'm doing is 100% legal. I forgot that some folks actually don't realize the fact that Normal States (like VT) don't have Firearms Permits, or Registrations, and Private Purchases are completely legal. Scary, isn't it?

And, if they were to outlaw my firearms, you can bet that I'd "dispose" of the ones not trackable in a reasonably legal means. At a minimum, I wouldn't be able to be prosecuted for what I do.

What I wouldn't do, in any form or manner, is keep them in my possession, or even on or near my property.

I would just make sure that I picked up guns from a private sale, or from someone walking around at a gun show.

They didn't need to be recorded, and therefore never no one knew where they were. No paper trail. And with a private sale in Ohio, there was no NICS check. Same as here, but you just didn't have to register them.
