I trust the source, I'm just wondering if someone bullshitted, lied or was confused and passed that info along to Keane; e.g. someone had their LTC revoked for

other reasons, but turned it into this situation.

I can't imagine this is beyond isolated... but who knows. Registration would never be used to take guns away so I don't think this is possible.

This is based in the 1994 Federal Law, that was duplicated in 1998 at the Mass state level. Never has it been interpreted as it is now in Mass. You are telling me that CA wouldn't have if they could have?

What stops the AG or any other state law enforcement official from acting on the new interpretation? Nothing - other than the original intent of 2A.

My renewal is due first half of 2017, so that is the earliest I will have direct knowledge.
