If the club has the LTC that’s fine. But if you are going to ban targets because of it then explain that to the body/membership and put it in the posted notice.

Don’t make threats of suspension.

Total fudd jerk club.

A lot of these eboard and R&P committee types get a little taste of power and become tyrants.

They no longer consider the best interest of the membership/club.

Hold them to it.

Make the club explain WHY THEY STILL WANT THIS LICENSE, and what the benefit is to club members. Tell them that it makes members suffer for something other clubs don't have a need for suffering over. Make sure it is public, on the record with them, and goes into the publicly available club meeting minutes, available to all members. Send it out in the club newsletter to discuss at the meeting.

MAKE IT KNOWN.

That's cute but unless you're into organizing a coup it's not going anywhere. If you want that level of change you need to identify the "problem clique" (theres one at every fuddloop club) and eliminate it by bringing in scads of members that don't normally vote on elections. Otherwise the clique apparatchiks will show up and outvote you every time.

ETA: in some cases you can get lucky and it'll be only one dick bag that you need to remove but most of the loop clubs have endemic cultural problems with this stuff....
