Given MCOPA leadership has come out in support of this pile of crap, over the reported opposition of some members, where are the chiefs that do oppose it? If one lives in a town who's chief opposed the House bill (ex. Plymouth and Ware) then consider contacting your chief to see if they continue to oppose such crap, or are they goose-stepping with MCOPA.

I honestly don't care what they think because when push comes to shove, they will do anything to save their pensions.

I Haven’t asked but plymouth is pretty good with regards to guns and personal property laws.
My bud got jammed up and they transferred his guns to me after his case was over

One of those firearms “may” have been a post ban non neutered rifle he was charged with owning out of compliance.
A simple “make it complaint as soon as you possibly can” IE put the roll pin back in it was what I was instructed to do so I promptly did so.

Personally, I support making gun safety courses mandatory education for all high school seniors in the country along with having armed security in all schools, just like the Chinese did after a mass stabber killed 20 people at a primary school.

Dude, no one here is voting Democrat. I agree we need to retake the house and the Senate. But like we saw in 2020, candidate quality matters. In Pennsylvania they voted for a brain dead senator over the Trump endorsed alternative. They voted for an actually dead house rep over the Trump endorsed alternative. Sarah Palin, the Trump endorsed candidate for the house in Alaska, lost to a Democrat in one of the reddest states in the country. 2 faced Keri Lake, the self-proclaimed Republican, who previously was a Democrat supporting conservative stalwalts like John Kerry and Barack Obama, lost in Arizona. You talk the talk about winning back the house and the Senate. Are you willing to walk the walk and nominate candidates that can win in the primary? That is yet to be seen.

There seems to be a wing within the Republican Party that demands 100% purity to one person's ideals and will tear down anyone not conforming. Many of those people are now represented in Congress by Democrats. I wonder if they feel like that worked out well for them.

Nobody knows. It depends on how the final bill is worded.

There'll be dates in there that determine when all the parts "go hot."

They will go after people. They will go after MA Dealers if any of us violate the new AWB or try and frame out off roster stuff. You have just had your access to the cool stuff eliminated. You will not be able to buy ARs, any semi-auto rifle unless it is one of the three that come from the factory compliant to the AWB, no glocks, nothing but pump shotguns, S&W shields and revolvers. There will be no lawful way to get anything else unless someone moves to the state with them. Remember back before 2017 when the only way to get a glock was to pay Carl $1000 for a beat up gen 2, have your cop buddy do a straw purchase, or talk someone just moving to MA into selling it to you? Those days are returning.
