I’m trying to figure out if there’s anything I could buy at this point. I feel like I’ve got enough lowers. Safe is full 😂
I dont understand rushing to panic buy more at this point, maybe ammo sure, but whats another gun collecting dust in a safe gonna do. Save the money to train or move out of state instead of buying your 9th p365 or another lower for a rifle you wont build with a scope you dont have.

Not knocking buying guns you actually want though

I don’t understand the rush to buy this weekend, but if the window is closing on stuff it’s now or never (in MA). Well, soon or never.

As I said before- the two bills need to be merged at a later date and then there will be voting at yet later dater and signing - prolly the same day. So.. there is time. The window will not close this weekend for sure.

For me it’s about buying the guns I have wanted but have not purchased because I value investing my money to see a return long term.

But if the cut off is tomrrow I would be buying everything I may want until I can replace my 200k+ job in a free state (hint that’s not going to happen).

Agreed. I’m pretty well set on reloading components for quite a while, so not sure what else I really need.
Whatever lower or gun I buy now is just going to collect dust

In all seriousness, this will take weeks, if not months, to hash out, and then it probably won't become effective immediately. The only reason I'm going to the mill this weekend is to get something I've been coordinating with the FFL for a month or so.
Speaking only for myself, I get the distinct impression of the fix being in. Feels very much like a foregone conclusion.

I mean, when the Republican "opposition" asks a supposedly hard question, and the Creem reads her answer from a sheet of paper... well, that says something to me.

I know you're a lot younger from the SS discussion, my advice is to get the fruck out of this state, the money is not worth it. I'm 56 and if I knew what I know now (and where things have progressed here) when I was in my 20s/30s I would have gotten the fruck out then. I'm only a couple years away from retirement and stuck until the end. Don't keep going down this road in this shithole state, life is too short, and it's only going to get worse.

kangaroos man... kangaroo court

Skynet's not going to even vaguely imagine it needs to obey this bill.

Nor should we.

The problem is, it may not affect what we own but will affect what we can buy (which we will be forced to "obey") and will likely have negative impacts on dealers, so there is still a mountain of suck to it. Even once the final bill is passed it will be years before any suits make it through the court/legal system and the damage will have been done (whether we win or lose). Among other things, they want to reduce the number of firearms coming into and being sold in the state, and this bill will accomplish that.
