Ma man arrested with gun leaving library of congress?

OK, who's missing from here today?

I think they are going to take away Barney Fife's bullet. Maybe he can join the TSA.

A police officer who allowed the man into the Capitol after searching him has been suspended pending a department investigation.

Security video showed the man entering the Capitol through a security checkpoint. After magnetometers sounded, the officer performed a “secondary hand search” and then let him into the building, police said.

He went in, the metal detector goes off, the officer hand searches him and didn’t find the gun, he took a tour of the building and then left. As he was walking to his car the police stopped him outside and searched him and found the gun. The article doesn’t say why they stopped him.

Trump should preemptively pardon him!

His LTC was taken away by the town Chief and all of his guns were confiscated. The guy took off and LEs were tracking his movements. They alerted Capital Police when he entered DC. They caught up to him at the Library and he was arrested. Figuring he was going there to try and Cap someone.

Chief where? Who was tracking him and for what? Seems like big parts of the story are missing.

All these newer cars in the last decade with built in IoT modems, with a little help from our fed homies at the NSA, can easily track any car anywhere anytime they want.

yeah but if the guy was smart, he would have dumped it. easy to pick up a prepaid phone cash money
Clearly, he wasn't smart. I'm guessing he was several bottles short of a six pack. And even without a cell phone number, he was probably paying for gas by credit card and his car's license plate was picked up on toll roads.

Exactly zero people at age 27 buy a home in Carlisle.
I assume his parents called it in
