The Storm is hugely thick. Not good for concealed carry, which defeats the purpose. No love for the PX4 Storm or..
CZ 2075 RAMI
That's what I'm thinking.you are looking for a Ruger Lc9 my man
Smaller than a 239, with a hammer and no safety? That is available new at a gun shop in Mass?...Hmmm
I will take "guns that don't exist" for 1000

The B is still DA-SA.You can get anything in MA either from the right shop or from the classifieds. They’re legal to own you just can’t buy them at Four Seasons.
If you want the CZ Rami you’d want the BD version which has a decocker not the B version which is 1911 style.
Don’t think those have a hammeryou are looking for a Ruger Lc9 my man
Said no one ever, in the history of firearms.you are looking for a Ruger Lc9 my man
My current summer carry is an Sig P290 RS. Very comfortable to carry.
I would suggested the px4, but it's near impossible to get in Massachusetts. I didn't know the state of residence. No love for the PX4 Storm or..

I EDC my 45 acp full size just fineThe Storm is hugely thick. Not good for concealed carry, which defeats the purpose.
He asked for a compact or subcompact. I wouldn't put the PX4 in either category.I would suggested the px4, but it's near impossible to get in Massachusetts. I didn't know the state of residence.

So, you are a mason? My recommendation for a subcompact with a hammer:

I can’t believe we got this far into this thread without this kind of recommendation. You folks are slipping.
No. My wife is a geologist. That's her rock hammer. It was easier to find than my framing hammer, which I know is in a box in the basement, somewhere...So, you are a mason?
Why the criteria? It is pretty specific and I can't really think of any guns that are going to check all of the boxes. You are either going to have to live with a bigger gun, or live with striker fired like a Glock 43 or a Sig 365.Looking for options in Massachusetts for a sub compact (or perhaps a compact if it’s on the smaller size) 9mm or 380 in double action only (or double / single) that also has a hammer. I’m not interested in striker fire .
Something that is easily available (not something I have to find used or grandfathered in).
Intent is a small concealed carry hammer gun. Not interested in mini 1911 style pistols (like the p938).
Thanks in advance
I understand where OP is coming from, last year or 2 been on a similar search. Why the criteria? It is pretty specific and I can't really think of any guns that are going to check all of the boxes. There are also a few cheep Rugers that may also qualify.I understand where OP is coming from, last year or 2 been on a similar search.
This is what I've collected so far.
- Sig 290RS
- HK P2000SK
- Beretta PX4 Storm SC
- CZ 2075 RAMI BD
- Springfield XD-E
Single action only with a low-profile thumb safety. I don't think that is what he is looking for.I believe the Fn Reflex (their newer sup compact) is hammered fired though it is internal

Of course, I'm one to talk, as I suggested a gun without hammer...
Internal hammer …available WITh OUT thumb safety ….draw and pull the trigger no fuss no mussSingle action only with a low-profile thumb safety. I don't think that is what he is looking for.
There’s still p232’s out there.-like it but it may be a bit too large for this use case.
The lc9 is hammer fired. The lc9s is striker. Lc9 is on the roster.Don’t think those have a hammer
