N/D Of The Week

I must not be cleaning mine right. Nobody ever gets shot.

On a side note I was at a neighbors house many years ago and noticed he had a broken window. I asked what happened and he said someone threw a handful of rocks at it.
Later that day I saw 3 holes in his refrigerator freezer door. I asked his girlfriend what that was and she said his gun went off when he was cleaning it. It was a lever action 30-30. The holes lined up with his broken window.
He had to school da bitch.

During a press conference, Chief Pamela Smith said, the 5-year-old and a 3-year-old were in the house playing with an unsecured gun.
WASHINGTON — Two people have been charged after a 5-year-old girl was hospitalized in critical condition when she was shot by her 3-year-old brother with an unsecured ghost gun, DC Police confirmed Tuesday. The 3-year-old accidentally shot his big sister. A preliminary investigation found that the mother left her children in the care of a long-time family friend, while she went to run errands.
On Tuesday, police confirmed two people had been arrested. Darrell Graham, 59, and D'Jaunae McCrory Jackson, 21, are both charged with cruelty to children.
Police say Jackson, who is believed to be a sibling to the 3- and 5-year-old, also assaulted a special police officer who works at the apartment complex and DC Police officers who were responding to the call.
In addition to child cruelty, Jackson is charged with assault on a police officer, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, prohibited possession of certain dangerous weapons (sawed-off shotgun or ghost gun), criminally negligent storage of a firearm, possession of unregistered firearm/unlawful possession of a firearm or destructive device, and possession of unregistered ammunition.

Im more inclined to hang the cops and prosecutor for that insane list of constitutional rights violations.

What we know: The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office said deputies received a call around 5:40 p.m. on Sunday about a 3 ½-year-old boy who reportedly shot himself in Oak Valley Township. Once EMS arrived at the scene, the child was transported to Astera Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota, with undetermined injuries. In an update on Monday, the sheriff's office said the boy had died from his injuries.
What we don’t know: The sheriff’s office said the caller reported the child had "accidentally shot themself," but it’s unclear how the child got the firearm or who it belongs to.
The incident remains under investigation. The sheriff's office did not say whether any arrests had been made.

There was another one at Sig's academy this past Wednesday

Somehow a guy managed to shoot himself in the leg

Must have been one of those police issue P320's

Whether he was holstering appendix or strong side - gotta make sure your finger is off the trigger and your holster is clear of clothing &/or other obstructions

Jacksonville Sheriff's office released video of Officer Cardwell negligently shooting Jason Arrington.
Former Officer Mindy Cardwell - not guilty?

EDITED: WRONG PICTURE OF OFFICER.

Women should not be cops.

Needlessly escalates a traffic stop to disarm.
Gross incompetence handling firearm.
Completely freezes under duress after nearly killing a man.

Not that you'd care about being wrong, but she didn't make the decision to disarm. In fact, based on the MALE cop telling the newly arrived cop what was going on, she wasn't even there when the decision to disarm was made. She had just gotten there when they were already taking the guy out of the car. And "Completely freezes", ya she didn't run around all hysterical, but freezes? There was like a 1/2 second pause after a gun goes off right next to her.

BTW, this doesn't make her a good cop, I don't have nearly enough information to know that, but it shows your bias.
