So you can flip a switch between 1.5x & 6x and also illuminate the reticle? How does the eye relief compare to an Aimpoint M4 or an ACOG? And how long does the battery last?

I finally can post some porn. I got this for my bday toy. Who can host me on a 1000 yards range and send some 147 gr boolits?

Yup. Thats how it works. Normal magnification is 1.5x and you can use it just like an aimpoint or eotech. Then just throw the switch and it magnifies it 6x. Its sort or a blend between an acog and aimpoint. I have both an acog and an aimpoint but this is by far the nicest glass I own. was expensive but i think its worth the $$

Vepr

As most of you know Vepr's were introduced in this country back in the 90's. Then they dried up to re surface last year this time in shorter barrel lengths and multiple cambers,7.62x39,223, 308 and my favorite 7.62x54R. One difference however most were shorter barrel lengths than the orginals. They still had the heavier barrel and heavy duty receiver. I hunted and hunted for the orginal 23" heavy barrel and when I was about to give up Atlantic Firearms had a limited supply. They installed a SVD rear stock and a SVD type front hand guard. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have one. They were a limited run so I kept my fingers crossed that I would luck out and own one. About a week ago it arrived! I don't have any pictures yet of my rifle but do have one from the web site to provide you with what IMO is a beauty image.jpg

It comes with two 5 round single stack magazines and 10 round magazines are available. I am happy with 5 rounds. After all it's not a spray and pray rifle. I have a 8x PSOP scope on it.

They also and a double stack to to single stack 20. So it's just a little longer then the ten. .

Wow it's been a good month for me for finding lost knives! This Kershaw whirlwind I've had since 2001 went missing a few months ago. The girlfriend thought she had accidentally thrown it out with some trash we had around the fire pit one night back in September. I found it last night in the bottom of one the drawers of my dresser. No idea how it made it there.

+1 for the Elcan.

Ive had one on my SCAR16 for a year now. The eye relief on a ACOG was a big problem with me, couldnt get comfortable with it.

The ELCAN's eye relief blew it away, specifically on the SCAR. Glass was, in my opinion, a better quality too.

Picked up an H&K VP9 last night, Cant wait to shot it. Feels nice, fits good in the hand, visible sights, and I actually like the trigger.. I think I found a striker fire gun I might keep...

Not my most favorite build, but it serves its purpose for a 16" rifle. My only other AR has a 7.5" barrel:

I also picked up a safe that measures 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide and 2 feet deep this month. Holds everything, and then some.

nice, how do you like that fore grip? I was looking at that last night. I like the MOE handgaurd.

Gunsmith said it was very comfortable to shoot. I haven't shot it yet so I couldn't tell you. It feels good though. The cerakote job wasn't done great so the gun had all sorts of issues.

Don't you just love it when you find an old friend you thought it was gone forever.

HK VP9 with Tru Dot night sights. Didn't even know they had those as an option. The website shows the green dot glow in the dark sights. Included a third magazine which is good because they aren't cheap.

I picked up this Glock 23 gen 3 police trade in some holster where, but the barrel appears to have been shot very little not to bad for 16 years old.
