My big score for June. I finally got a correct, vintage, magazine for my 1914 Springfield Armory 1911. I've come close to acquiring one twice now. It was priced at $300 but I traded a Colt Type II keyhole magazine for it.

The telltale folded base....

And the 1911 it belongs in.....

New Desert Eagle i just purchased today for a D-E-A-L!! .357 with 2 barrels (6in and 14 in) and three mags.

There is something very strange looking about that 14" barrel. I keep thinking that there should be a little flag hanging off the front end that says "BANG!"

It IS ugly as SIN, your right. Just took the pic with it attached so i didnt have to explain what it was when it was off to the side, but still in the pic. i dont think ill be using that much.... not in a crowded range anyways

jeff, that 700 is nice. how'd you get the extended plate taken care of? been thinking of sending my bolt out but i never have good enough ammo to justify breaking out my 700. i've had it for two years or so and it's probably eaten less than 100 rounds.
