<img src="http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=66363"/>The .460 S&W magnum. Not sure WTF I'm gonna do with it but I get light headed when I hold it due to the blood rushing to my D**K.

Nice little snubby. I have been looking for one but still no such luck. This thing is better Viagra.

Sent it from iPhone 5 LTE

Is it an original? I know that there are a lot of them out there that were done as commercial conversions long after the end of WWII. Either way, those things are uber cool.

tips on checking that? doesn't appear that the numbers match, but it operates pretty smoothly, can't wait to fire it. has ENGLAND right on it though. [smile]

That was a very nice find Atilla,I have had one since I was a kid and found it to be one of the best bolt action carbines ever made. Here is a picture of me when I was alot younger hunting with my enfield carbine.

Are all the proper lightening cuts made? Including on the barrel under the hand guards? I'm not sure what the copies lack but that would become I'd think of... Also marked no5 mk1? On the left side of the reciever I believe.

Look for "lightening cuts" on the receiver and barrel. It helps to have a full size Enfield to compare with. If you take off the top of the hand guard you should see fluted cuts on the barrel where it screws into the receiver. Also, look for cuts on the receiver itself. The end of the bolt handle will also be drilled out, but even the fake have that. There were a lot of conversions of No. 4 Mk 1 guns and even some No. 1 MkIII guns into "Jungle Carbines" in the '60s and '70s. In fact the name "Jungle Carbine" came from the company that did the modifications. That company was "Golden State Arms" and they bought a ton (well several) of Enfields and Mausers after the war. They did a lot of very nice sporterizations to those rifles for hunting and target shooting.

I've had a No. 5 Mk 1 for several years, but haven't shot it yet. Someday.

Didn't plan on buying anything today, but couldn't pass it up. M&P 15-22 with 4 mags [smile] . Got it this afternoon from a fellow NES member
