New Acquisitions for October 2009!

I need a rear sight for it, it had a ridiculous Leupold rifle scope mounted on it when I got it.

The finish is in poor shape but there is no pitting, it was stored in a holster in a shed which really killed it.

George,
just have it refurbed and fitted with a new rear sight at the factory.
It's just around the corner for you folks[grin]

My first .45, also my new carry gun. Love it. Picked it up at Four Seasons on Friday after work.

My buddy has a really nice 38 super that's been passed down through the family. I'm looking for one myslef.

Is that one New, or previously owned??

Ill be honest, I don't know much about them.

It appears to be brand new and I think I will make some "changes" to it. It may be paying a visit to Santurri in the near future.

Is it something to lube bullets?

dingding! (although i thought the video i posted the link to woulda been the dead giveaway!)

Star Lubrisizer, with airfeed, heated base, and bulletfeeder.

if i can keep the feed tube topped off with boolits, it's VERY easy to size/lube my cast boolits at somewhere around 800-1000 per hour (havent tried yet, as i dont have any lube...nor have i made any of my own yet). got an awesome deal on it used, and already have 3 more sizer dies on the way! (now i dont have to pay for bullets for 9mm, .38/.357, or .45acp)...got .45acp down to ~ $.06/round.

You should be able to throw a 223 at the bullseye at that range. :)
Then again, when I was sighting mine in with the new scope, I started close and kept moving my targets back.

I can hit a bullseye at the 7 and getting better at 25/50 without using an optic. I was working on rapid shots when we took the pic, lol. my goal was 5 shots in two seconds while keeping it in the black part of the NRA 50 yrd speed target.

I got a chance to try out a friends aimpoint earlier today [smile] other than being jelliouse and my wallet cringing, I learned that it's alot easier to hit a target with a dot as apposed to irons, lol
