Oh Great! NOW I want a X95 Tavor.........

I feel this post, I thought I was done a couple days ago, then the sudden need to have a CZ Bren 2 MS carbine bit me and I've spent the last couple days seeing if anyone had one (spoiler: no I was not able to find one lol). I got AR lowers out the wazoo but wanted something different, the scar-lite appealed to me. Guess it'll soon be time to see what the deal is with ftf transfers soon. *sigh*
You have good taste! I've only shot the original Bren and thought it was a full legit rifle! From what I understand Bren 2 is lighter and more refined than Bren 1. If you get your hands on one, you WILL enjoy it!

Hearing that now doesn't help lol, now I'm sadder. :D Another "I should have gotten off my ass a few weeks ago" moment for me. At least I was smart enough to knock the SP5 off my bucket list a couple weeks ago.

Whatever it is, you guys should just move to Tennessee. They practically issue you a gun safe upon establishing residency.
You're not truly free until you can buy a fully auto HK MP7 with suppressor off the rack at your local wally. Crossing my fingers Daddy Trump will come thru and give us back the bump stocks he took away lol.

Yes, but I try to keep my business and personal firearms separate. Though it does bring up an interesting question. After 8/1 it'll supposedly make transferring any ASW to yourself illlegal after that date. So the Federal mandate for anyone who gives up their FFL is to transfer their stock to them personally. I have several ASW in my FFL inventory so if I transfer them to me if I give up my FFL, in this state I automatically am breaking the law. Seems an issue between Federal and State mandates. That may get interesting even though I don't plan on giving up my FFL anytime soon.

The Federal Supremacy clause is your friend. Now you're putting ideas in my head...

Do I understand it right that the new law requires you to have a storefront and address for your FFL? No more home based dealers?

MA has banned this issuance of MA dealer licenses (not FFLS, the MA license) to home addresses for quite a few years now.

Unfortunately, it is the MA dealer license, and not the FFL, that provides the state level exemption from the AW/ASW and magazine ban under both current and upcoming MGL.

I'd have to measure it, but doesn't the thin butt plate with the 16.5 barrel come in under 26"? I thought I remembered reading once that a brake had to be pinned on in order to achieve over 26" with the thin plate.

The founding fathers lacked the foresight to see this infringement coming. If only they had better vision.

Half the price of a Tavor and JuST AZ GuD

what would anyone try to clone a tavor from 22lr instead of getting an original tavor? or it is all about that new law thing?
same reason to do the same of a PS90 - they don't actually want the rifle, just a toy that kind of looks like it. Sometimes "because..." has to be enough.
