Dipped my toe in the P80 pool. Pretty sure there's still some grinding to be done--ftf on every round unless I manually rack it. Fun project though!
Something to note: When adding an Agency Syndicate polymer magwell to a pf940c, it will cause u-notch G19 mags to no longer catch. There is interference with the base plate and magwell. Square notch should not be a problem. Also, ETS 10rd mags work fine.
The magwell was orignally purchased for use on a pf940cl, but the grip is ever-so-slightly different and will not work. Only works on the 940c. Looks like the options for the CL are limited.
Looks like I got a defective takedown lever spring in my 940c frame parts kit. The takedown lever literally fell out of the frame.
Eventually I'll get around to ordering a new one, but that's damned annoying. Extra annoying since now I will need to force the locking block out of the frame after I had to pound the f***er in in the first place.
- Oil the guide rod. Doesn't immediately seem to need it considering metal on polymer, but it sounds like a pair of rusty scissors out of the box and one might think it is the rail system at first.
Mail call last night, got my 19 Chamaeleon w/thread protector and 17 black threaded no protector (getting comp). Won’t have chance to test them for week or two. Quality in hand looks nice but really dying to test function.
Been out straight lately haven’t had chance to test them yet. I have elections at my club this Thursday, hoping I can get there a bit early and try them out.How did your Chameleon work out?
After much sitting-around-my-basement time for this kit, I finally finished my Stormtrooper Glock. Guaranteed to miss, as well.

He should also shift his rear sight 1/4" to the left so he misses everything by 2 feet..Nice! This is screaming for Imperial insignia somewhere on it, and all that's left is just hitting your head on a door when called to action.
Good time for a quarantine build.Just picked up my p80
It’s like they breed like rabbits!!!!
I’ve taken to lapping the slide and frame with lapping compound before installing trigger parts. Makes the slide run like it’s on ball bearings.
Titanium blue frame, stainless alpha wolf wave serrated slide.
also..... I really would like to recommend “atomic engraving” for the serial plate. They were super fast, 3 very clear lines of text, and price was great. $45 said and done. I will always use them from this point on.

I keep thinking hard about doing one of the aluminum 1911’s with that slick hand jig. But I’m pretty much certain that I’m going to buy a ghost gunner 3. I will hold off on 1911 pursuits until then.Anyone try the 1911 ones?
Armorally has the PF45 frames on sale for around $125 right now. Downside is the specs are a little sloppy so it is a little finicky. The pf940c’s on the other hand go together so nicely that they need very little to zero fitting. I’ve been seriously tempted to try out doing a G26. But I also hate pistols that need a magazine extension for a full grip.Since the AG is going after P80, I ordered 2 P80 frames.
I think I will build one into a G17 and one G34. Maybe I will do one Gucci and one poor working man. I dont know, there are so many options.
I found a nice write up online about building the 1911, I will post it here if I can find it again.Anyone try the 1911 ones?
I ordered the PF940v2, but I didnt order a complete kit, just the frame.Armorally has the PF45 frames on sale for around $125 right now.
