The votes are to amend the bill from the committee. It is schumers bill which is so crazy, if you let your friend borrow your shotgun to hunt, that is an illegal transfer and punishable by jail. That bill cannot get 50 votes, never mind 60. So they need to amend it to get something passed. Tm failed, so the entire bill is toast.

It will allow military personnel too purchase firearms where they are stationed, it allows reciprocity, it removes language from the bill that would make a law about citizen a criminal for passing through another state, to include staying overnight.
