I didn't want to go through the trigger modification to install a standard Dragunov type stock so I chose the Saiga factory model that requires no moving the trigger forward and put on a 6x scope that I got from Tantal.
I still may do the handguard and add ventilation holes. That modification looks simple enough and only requires some carefull Dremel work.

Lookin' good![grin]

What ammo have you been using and how's it shooting?

I only shot 20 rounds through it to site it in with iron sights when I first got it. It was some surplus 308 I got from M&Ms. Grouping was pretty good though at 50 yards, at least now with a scope and some better ammo I should tighten up and be able to see what I'm hitting w/out the use of a spotter. Much like the Romak 3s, these rifles aren't known for pinpoint accuracy.
I'm totally green on 308 ammo and theres so much out there that I figure it'll take me a while to get something I really settle on and like to use specifically. No matter it'll be fun testing what I buy.[smile]
