Sauer sl5 shotguns

Are you looking for an inertia gun for waterfowl? Are dead set on one of these? If not, Czech out the CZ 1012. They are hardcore slept on when it comes to waterfowl guns. I have the bronze edition that I got for upland hunting. Phenomenal gun.

I wasn't dead set on anything

I want a wicked wing o/u

But im pretty happy with my turknelli at the moment

But are they any good?

I really was just going to get a wicked wing next time i catch a deal but if these are any good I'll grab one instead

No idea lol.
I need to learn more about skeet and trap guns. My club has awesome facilities for both and my girl wants to learn.

Most of the turkish guns are OK....for moderate use. Ive had very good luck with the Impala Plus brand if inertia guns and I would take them anywhere and they are solid and run well.

Beretta and Browning and CZ autoloaders are a step up in fit and finish...and probably a bit more longetivity.

Other than that if your looking for longetivity for the skeet and trap range.....a Browning or Beretta over and under cannot be beat, you'll get tens of thousands of rounds out of them.

Gas guns tend to suck once the temp drops below 20. I’ve noticed the two I have for waterfowl start to have cycling issues once the temp gets below 20.

Hornady One Shot has helped curb that, but the coldest temp I’ve hunted since I switched to one shot has been 17.

Agree. When we shot skeet up there in the winter berettas a400 be jamming and the turkish inertia guns running like a top
I shoot with an equal number of A400, A300 and Turkatron guys and that doesn't bear out in reality imo. Although the 300 definitely had some QC issues for sure. (Those broke more than the 400s or Turkatrons).

Thankfully that would have been like 1 day where i live and i am not getting my ass out in that

Sauer is best known for their side by side and their Zwillings and Drillings are second to none, or at least used to be. If their gas shotties are the same, you get an excellent firearm. My gramps owned one of their Drillings from the 50ies. Checkering and carving/engraving were outstanding, the break open was smooth as silk. Admirable quality back then. No idea how many corners they cut today.
