Thanks, 2 parts Fiebings red leather dye, 5 parts Feibings mahogany leather dye, 5 parts amber shellac. Then several coats of just the amber shellac. I stain all my gunstocks with Fiebings, there's nothing like it for density of color.
The stock I did in the pic above was done with Amber shellac. Unfortunately it started to bubble around the front edge of the lower handguard from heat when I was at the range the other day. No biggie to me because its an AK. I always wondered if shellac was used (as is the case in most Russian wood) how did they keep it from blistering?

x39 is about 2 1/4 " with bullet, so it's less than 3/4" "rifling". You can see the bullet in the barrel from the business end.

Does the tip of the bullet sticking out the end of the barrel count as a loaded chamber indicator?

Yes. I don't remember who, but there's a company that makes rear trunnions with a QD socket machined right in.
I just remember asking about being able to have a Romanian Draco but I was told not unless it's pre ban. So I figured you ant build an AK pistol. I would love to build one.
It either needs to be preban, or ban compliant. Boris' example would seem to be built so as to be ban compliant.

Yea I know , but no wood furniture. Dont like the polymer furniture but, my god this thing is very well built, good price too (at least I consider it nice and that's what counts)
