Here is the pickup I made last Sept for $600....

OK, details.. AR is pre-ban Colt H-BAR fg in 1992 and almost completely stock. (and looks brand new) I've since made a couple of mods, but this will remain mostly stock.
16 30 round (1 still in dated package) and 12 20 round (2 original Colt) mags
1861 rounds of various ammo from surplus to handloaded match grade. I think I'm down to only 400 or so of that original count. But I've added over 2k. (^_^)

All that for ONLY $600!?! Reminds me of those infomercials: "But wait! There's more...."

That is a score and a half right there.

No it is a Spikes Tactical lower. It had the HK markings so I took a little but of testors and a hypo and painted them on one of my days off about two months ago.

The bottom is a RRA lower (w/2stage trigger), Stag upper, Wilson 16" Evil Barrel (1/9), FF Yankee Hill Handgaurd/Gas Block, and Evil Collapsible Stock. It should be put together next weekend. Hopefully by then I'll have my Troy BUIS.

Not shown: Patriot Ordnance Factory, Inc. Stripped receiver, 2 NES Lowers (coming in a few months)

Haaaa. That's trick photography. There's really a space there. I use either one depending on the day.

The only problem I have with this rifle is I want the pre-ban M-4 that was right next to it at ZHA too. No one warned me AR's were like 1911's in that you can't have just one.

Like LR308 said - it's an IOR 3-18x42 Sniper's Hide.

I like the bipod how it is - doesn't seem to affect anything, I always have been balf hackwards anyway. =)
