Target Sports Delivering Again - Megathread

PSA: "We support the 2A, except when it takes more effort than saying we support the 2A".

How do you think TS achieved strong sales in MA? They do whatever it takes to ship to MA- that and they wear a big set of brass huevos. If PSA has any, they must not have descended yet. I agree PSA doesn't have to give a sh!t, at least for now. However, as a larger retailer who took the chicken sh!t route, they are supporting the wrong side.

PSA is so stupid they won't even ship you one of their stupid baseball caps if you order it. Beyond that if you are actually in one of the stores and they find out you are from MA they won't sell you anything, even if 100% legal. I ran into that down in SC. Buddy tried to buy a shotgun and they wouldn't sell it to him because we were from MA. As soon as they found that out they wouldn't sell me any ammo.

I let my membership lapse, but if they continue to ship here during this fiasco I'll definitely join up again.
I'm not a lawyer, but I'd think all the scumbags would have to do to invalidate TS's argument is add wordage to include other carriers. And given their rabidness to hurt us, I could see them doing it.
Except they would have to wait for a new session to start.

This is why you don't educate legislators.
Like you just did? Whoopsie.

Exactly. They are tools.

The same thing happened to me in their NC store, even though I am an NC dual-resident with signed lease in hand (still have MA license though). I had ammo and a 12 round mag that they wouldn't let me buy even though it's 100% legal. I said "nah" when they offered to let me buy the t-shirt I had also picked out  . I went home and ordered the exact same ammo and magazine from TSUSA and had it shipped to my NC house.

One cannot educate the willfully uneducated. You'd be better off trying to teach a dog calculus.

It's the lobbyists and interest groups we need to be quiet around.

Almost makes me wish we had some kind of vetting system for NES membership.

Q: How many rounds should you have?
A. My instructor said I should have at least 4,000.

Politics is simple: reward your friends and punish your enemies.

The truth is they just don’t like you very much, and that’s why they do these things.

Pretty good sign-up bonus for the first 500 new Ammo+ members...

Someone needs to find the video from that thread.
Edit- found it. Not the original post though.

People in general will piss away $25 without thinking. Make paid membership to NES required. If you to still want to have "green" perks then have a 2 tier membership setup. Say $25 basic membership and an additional $15 to go "green".

Did they card you? Or did you let that slip?

There was another dude on here several years ago that reported being chased out into the parking lot after they figured out he was from Mass.... 🤣 they wanted him to bring the ammo back inside and get a refund he told them "no". 🤣

The carded me, then the lady behind the register said "oooh...Massachusetts" and turned to what I assume was her supervisor who then told me "we can't sell you the ammo or magazine"

We went to another shop who insisted on seeing my driver's license even though I was just buying a holster . They let me buy it though.

You know that wasn't put there by the sender, someone with the carrier had to have done it. I'd definitely make the sender aware, complain to the carrier (corp not local) as well. Might even consider a letter to the ATF, someone doing this could aid in the bad guys identifying what to steal.

Just received this case today from UPS. Not sure what to think about this sticker? Anybody seen this before? Was supposed to have received on Thursday, but it sat at UPS for two extra days. Not sure why.

My UPS guy is cool enough to text me before he would ever leave some stupid shit like that in front of my door.

I bought my first gun in Florida w nothing more than my voter ID card. Y’all need free states not that commie bullshit.

They probably just have some extra/different handling procedures for ammo and that’s some genius’s way of flagging the package.
Internally that would be great, but the flags/stickers should be removed before delivery unless they've created some unknown extra vigilance enroute. Which still marks the package as highly desirable for theft.

I ship to an apartment so this would be a huuuuuge concern for me. TSUSA has always been great about discreet double boxing. A big sign saying "ammo" sitting in my front hallway for a few hours would be a concern. I live in an extremely safe area with near zero theft risk, but still, my neighbors don't need to know that.

Leave some cookies and case a beer out for brown Santa with your number attached. Get to know your UPS guy. They already know when you're ordering ammo anyway.
