Yeah, it's a KB, but I'm impressed, overall, given that
the gun was repairable and the shooter was uninjured... although
the part of the grip panel that came flying off must not have felt
good. Compare that to Glock KB's where the frame often
essentially gets obliterated.

What I'm most impressed by is the fact that the barrel is still in one
piece. This means it was strong enough to cope with the overpressure
and only blew out at the most unsupported part of the case.

Yes, I know it's the fault of the reloader. Probably didn't crimp his bullet
properly (and got serious setback) or he was using brass that had been
previously fired in some gun that had shitty chamber support, or brass
which had already been weakened by an overload or other
event. (or his "well under max" load actually ended up being an accidental
double charge or something. )

Very impressive. The pictures I've seen of Glock kB's prompted me to go out and get a KKM barrel for my G29. I don't want to be on the receiving end of a 10mm case head blowout.

I had a case separation in my .357 SP2340 due to,I believe, increased bullet setback in a Speer Lawman training round that I had rechambered.A louder boom than usual and it obviously couldn't chamber the next round with the case head lodged in but I popped it out with a pen and no major drama.

I happened to have my camera to take pics of the goslings around the range so you even get a picture:)

It was the "zero margin for error" with the Glocks that caused me to trade mine for a Sig.
There seems to be more problems recently with factory ammo and that has me a little worried.
Seeing these examples gives me even more confidence in the durability of the Sig.
I've been thinking about a Sig Pro. Are they MA legal for dealer sales?

The old ones are definitely, but I don't think sigarms has an SP2022M (the
railed version) around... so you're pretty much limited to any 2340s or 2009s
you can get your hands on.
