The Conference Committee has sent official language out - h.4885

Big Brain idea - The state (MA) has just done to diesel owners and operators what they have done to us fine gun people and not a lot of people know about it yet. Diesel sales of any trucks will cease January 1, 2025 as massachusetts has adopted the notoriously retarded California CARB Low Emissions NOX standards, which regulate how many diesel vehicles can be sold vs BEV electric vehicles. Because the sale of BEV's are non existent in the trucking industry, it will be illegal in MA to sell a diesel truck Jan 1. Maybe we can bundle our signatures / outrage together to get a question on the ballet or just skip the due process and find the nearest tree for these genius' that are making these new policy / laws?

No diesel, no trucks, naked people, people starve. What could possibly go wrong.

Hey everyone I am going to be picking up my SIG mcx spear lt that I ordered from a dealer that was in stock before this new shit law was voted on. I'm also looking to pick up a cheap 9mm when I'm there seeing as I spent $2,800 on the rifle. Does anyone have any experience with the Taurus g3c good or bad? Thanks

I can’t speak for the Taurus, but you’re going to LOVE that Spear. I got mine right under the wire too and I have no regrets.

You bought a spear and are considering a Taurus? Wait and buy something from Sig, Glock, HK, etc.

Ya that's why I asked for people's input. I was just looking for a cheap 9mm because I spent 2800 on the spear. I just want to have a handgun to without spending another 500-1000.

Shit I almost had to take out a small loan for the spear. But I'm happy I got one because there will be No new ones entering the state legally anyway.

I have heard good things about the G3C, but I am still not buying a service pistol from Taurus. Take a look at Canik or Smith & Wesson M&P line. These are the lowest priced guns I can think of that are pretty good value as opposed to just cheap. Some people really hate the M&P pistols, but I have found them to be reliable and a decent value. The only thing is, don't buy one with the 12 lb Massachusetts trigger. That just sucks. But the free state trigger is fine and does not need aftermarket upgrades.

If M&P or Canik are too expensive, then I would be seriously looking at used guns, not bottom tier new ones.

Don’t be so quick to knock the Taurus G3C I have one and it has been 100% reliable and an excellent shooter. I actually replaced my Glock 19 with it because it has a much better feel and it’s not like a brick in my hand. Online reviews are also generally excellent. This pistol is a real bargain.
I bought a Taurus PT99 many years ago and still have it. I was young and on a tight budget, the gun fit my needs at the time. The only thing I did was replace the wooden grips that I thought were kind of ugly.

I don't shoot it anymore but when I did it ran fine and ate any ammo I fed it. I know Taurus doesn't have the best reputation and it doesn't get a lot of love here. All I can do is report that the one I have has been a good gun.

First, let's get the terminology right. These trucks will be undocumented for sale in MA, not illegal. Big difference. [thinking]

I would imagine most of the undocumented trucks will be transferred to out of state dealerships either because the dealer spans two states or just inventory sale/swap.

Still, it's an opportunity to buy one at a discount, maybe, if you sign before the deadline.

Will they allow registration of the vehicle if you bring it in from out of state?

There is a spear upper and AR conversion kit so you can spearify your AR lower

You will need to coordinate with a dealer. Sig will not sell this to Mass residents. There is a new release as well

I prefer the BRN-180 uppers
I think they ship to MA, if not, from their FAQ
May I have my order shipped to a different address other than my own?
Yes. If the different shipping address is a one-time address only, simply enter the complete name, street address, city, state, and zip code on Step 1 of the Checkout process.
If the shipping address is one you wish to use frequently, enter the address in the shipping information field in the My Account area.
One exception: The exception applies to items requiring an FFL. Those items must be shipped to the address on the FFL.

i prefer one i just snatched from deals - hope it will be shipped - the aero 14.5" for $325. that was one nice deal.
i really think they will find a way to stop any sales of uppers soon, same what was done to lowers, so it's better be all set in that department.

Doesn't the new law make the upper a firearm too?
If so the supply is going to dry up fast, at least from on-line sellers.
In many states the upper is nothing, so a quick road trip is all that has to happen (for the CYA, make sure you comply with the law regarding bring it into MA)

They are banning uppers also?

It thrashes and cries about it but ultimately does nothing.... because there's no way to contol uncontrolled parts and the laws provide no structural pieces to do so. In short it's one of many full on running jokes in this pile of shit law.

NES is the ONLY place I have heard this, so far.

I have heard good things about the G3C, but I am still not buying a service pistol from Taurus.
