Yeah, I figured that was probably the case.

Apparently Manticore Arms makes a butt-pad that shaves an inch off the LOP of the X95, but keeps the OAL good.
Mike
Indeed they do. I ordered one.
Did you get the 25% off from Manticore?
Coupon code is "magnificent seven" if not. Sven (the owner) is pretty cool and will hook you up probably if you missed the boat and your order hasn't shipped.
If you're buying it online, then around $1650 to $1800 is a good price. I bought my Tavor SAR from out of state. Even with the transfer fee, muzzle brake of my choice purchased and pinned, it was still cheaper than the MA shops that had them in stock at the time.Yeah I think I want one too ! What's a good price for one of these ?

You might even be able to find an X95 for close to GB prices at a shop over the NH border. Not sure who will pin the muzzle brake though.
Thank you.
And they're reliable right ? Chew everything ?

Not from what I read on bullpup forums.
If you've got a pic of that brake installed, I'd appreciate a look at it.Yes. As long as the muzzle break is smaller than the hole at the end of the handguard. I have a cmmg brake pinned. If it can wait till later, i'll snap some pictures.
OP updated with pics.
That definitely looks like an evil killing machine, you should give it to me so that I can ensure it doesn't menace society and go on a killing spree. You know, to keep everyone safe.
Here is mine with a new grip. I intend to add this foregrip as well.
So it looks to me like the SAR at least has an integrated grip, doesn't that eliminate the pistol grip as an evil feature and mean you don't have to pin the muzzle brake?
I forgot, this is the Mass wording:The grip completely detaches with one screw. I would say it's still a pistol grip.
I forgot, this is the Mass wording:
"A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon."
Seems to me it's more like in front of the action on the Tavor.
I just got 2 FDE and 2 Black X95's in. These are cool guns, they balance very well. 9mm conversion kit is a nice touch too.
My SAR is a Ma. "okay" rifle from the factory with a 16.5 inch barrel and a muzzle break that is not pinned or welded. So it looks to me like the SAR at least has an integrated grip, doesn't that eliminate the pistol grip as an evil feature and mean you don't have to pin the muzzle brake?

Besides all that Brewinz, how are you liking it?
I love my Sar, it is my favorite take to the range rifle. My ar has taken a back seat since its arrival, not to say it's more accurate or a better rifle, to me it's just more fun to shoot.
