Trail camera thread. Post ur trail camera photos.

A couple of days ago (yes the date on the camera is wrong, as it has been all along).

Been raining here for days and cold windy nights. I dropped fifty pounds of corn on my way back in from the feed store, and it gathered a crowd. The blur on the lens is from the driving rain during the night.

This fella is still showing up just about every night. I've started leaving him the dead mice that I occasionally trap in my construction trailer.
Last night I left him a few Milkbones I had kicking around from dog sitting for a friend.
I know it's not a good idea to feed a predator, but since he comes every night anyway I figured, what the hell.
Worse case scenario would be him latching onto my throat. Either I'll have a cool story or my widow will. 864049053128965-100-2-02122025031236-W1000763.JPG 864049053128965-100-2-02122025031826-W1000773.JPG

I shot a squirrel off my bird feeders a couple of weeks ago and put it out for some critter to make a meal out of it, but it got buried under snow and ice and nothing found it. So I pulled it out and placed in the crotch of a small birch tree in front of a trail camera. A couple of foxes came sniffing around but didn't find it... you can't see it but the squirrel is hanging where the red circle is (the time is 12 hours off in these photos):

Another fox (darker than the others) found it and ran off with it - you can see another fox run off in the background:

The other fox returns about 30 mins after the squirrel was taken:

Up close and personal to the camera. Every other night visitors. Singles and groups of 8 to 10 deer coming thru the yard area.
