Took the Red Dot scopes off four AR pistols. Going back to irons on all my pistol builds. Reduces the weight, the bulk and removes the focus factor.

Took it out of the box. Checked to see if my Kirst .22 conversion cylinder would fit the new Pietta 1858 Remington Navy. Fit like it was made for it! I've got a .22lr 1858 Remington! Heeheehee. Just have to take it all apart now and slick it up.

I think it's a dawson aftermarket.
Just added a new Wilson Combat grip to the p365xl. Shown here with her X5 big sister.Definitely prefer these grips over the sig ones.

Unloaded the Seecamp and dry fired it to make sure it’s not sticking or anything.

Finally got around to changing the batteries in my optics… I diligently do it at least once every several years, whether they need it or not!

The OEM looks better to me, but in the photo I perceive the Wilson to be slightly more bulbous where the OEM has flat sides so I imagine they have different feel in the hand.

Picked her up from the shop! First revolver. I do want a classic one but I'm loving the angled lug and slab sided barrel
And swapped out the wood grips...they look awesome but they're either for really small or really large hands. I just couldn't get comfortable with a high grip.

Changed out my wilson short reach trigger on my 92 and 96 to the Beretta flat trigger
Also got my optic for my .223 wylde AR and swapped over the scope and bipod to the 6.5 grendel.
Waiting on the magnifier tomorrow the wylde tomorrow. Also added a light to it. Not pictured

Finished slicking up the Pietta 1858 Remington .22 LR this week so today I finished tweaking the trigger spring, and then cleaned all the .22s for our next range trip. Can't wait to shoot this three-pound hogleg.
Also replaced the light Wolff hammer springs (that wouldn't hit heavy enough to fire a centerfire round) with the factory springs in a couple Ubertis.
And then I decided to clean and re-oil all the BP cylinders I've accumulated just to keep them in nice shape. Now I'm gonna practice removing and replacing the cylinder until I can do it without peeking.

Cold, rainy day. Perfect for lightly dehorning a couple Single Six hammer spurs. I had the hammer spring and strut out of the new one, waiting for some lighter Wolff springs but they won't be here until mid-week. What the hell--cut off three coils from the factory spring and reinstalled it. Also polished the hell out of the strut itself, where it meets the hammer. Still not as sweet as the used SS I bought from some smooth-talker here on NES.
