You screw the grip screw into the bushing through the driver to lock it on. It can't strip the bushing.I'll definitely look into it. I am doing more and more 1911s now.

Wicked Weaponry did a great job. Yes it was a heavy loss for me and the boys. She was 10. Developed a pretty aggressive heart murmur 2 years ago and it progressed quick. We were lucky to have 2 more years with her and she made the move to NH. She's buried out at the edge of the property so we can visit her often.Awesome job looks amazing, sorry for the loss of your dog, always sucks
Dawson and Truglo make excellent front sights. I like the green rods latelyDawson fibre optic front sight for an old kimber.View attachment 565275
Came with red installed, plus a green and a red spare. They also include a nifty aluminum drift punch that has a square shoulder.Dawson and Truglo make excellent front sights. I like the green rods lately
With nice wood like that it works. Just like a high end AK. Cerakote it a nice FDE and you might be able to use it to convince the libs that it is just “another hunting rifle"I'm sure this isn't everyone's cup o' tea (and I'm still a little iffy on it, myself), but thought I'd try something a little different on one of my ARs:

I like Mike, he does great work. Known him for a long time.Took my new S&W Shield 45 to Mike LaRocca yesterday. Having a trigger enhancement and reliability package work.
Is that solid wood or some sort of composite? Either way, I kind of dig it!I'm sure this isn't everyone's cup o' tea (and I'm still a little iffy on it, myself), but thought I'd try something a little different on one of my ARs:
