Who makes a semi-auto compact/micro-compact pistol in .22 Mag?

Why do they put all that extra material in holsters? It kind of defeats the purpose of having a small gun when the holster is double the size.

The only thing that belongs in that pocket is the gun. The extra material keeps it oriented in the right direction, and helps the holster stay in the pocket during the draw.

Printing. It really doesn’t feel bulky. One of the reasons I like these holsters is you can take them out of your pocket without the points that other brands use to keep it in your pocket. The suede is going in the direction that keeps it in your pocket as well as the rounded appendage. 145DC477-4A78-4064-90D1-B51ECB285F38.png

I keep wondering when .32 is going away. They seem to still make it, just once in a while.

Likely never, there are so many 32's still in circulation the ammo will still be made. It was just hard to get during covid because manufacturers weren't wasting limited primers on the low demand calibers.

Sounds cool, thanks for the offer! Probably not going to make it this time. Really appreciate it though.
Just as well. After getting the missus all excited about trying out her Black Widow, then checking out Fat Cat's website to verify their hours, then double-checking by going to their Facebook page in case they had a sudden change in hours of operation, then loading all my crap into the car, THEN driving half an hour, there was a hand-lettered sign on their door saying something like "Screw you. We're closed. We might open later." Fricking amateurs.
If you want small just go up .1 cal. The reason I carry a Seecamp is because it’s just so comfortable. View attachment 700940View attachment 700942
Will you please stop with all the gorgeous pocket gun porn? You are creating unnatural desires in the heart of this confirmed revolver owner. It doesn't help that there is one for sale here on NES right now.

Naa mini revolver is your best bet for that cal. Very pocketable.
I have an NAA .22 LR and it is too snappy. I am gonna try .22 short, but now we are in a truly useless caliber. I also want to get one of those folding stocks. They are longer and will let me get another finger, at least, on the grip.
I also have a .22 Magnum High Standard derringer. It's as big and heavy as a small semi-auto, but I find it impossible to shoot accurately. It is so sharp and jumps. Everything is way high.

You are correct. That was why I was asking here. Looks like your assertion and my findings here also back this up. Nothing out there.

Actually, that's more like a 180!!! ;)

Yeah, that is indeed a feasible option. One or two shots is all that is probably necessary, plus a pocket of loose shells just in case for my particular use.
But they jump more than a semi-auto (or, heavier, revolver) would. I own one and I have not fired it enough, but was very frustrated by my inability to keep it from shooting way high.

You mean the .32 ACP, of course it is extraordinarily picky in ammo (I had to use a bench grinder to render ammo usable at one point). But there is also the .25 and .380. I have been thinking about getting the .380, just because I haven't bought anything in a while, but the Seecamp is so small I am actually worried that the .380 is borderline too much cartridge. Plus I have the .380 Bodyguard, which strikes me as enough in .380.

It was designed around hollow points, specifically Winchester Silvertips and the recommended ammo is specific. Not necessarily picky. They recommend changing the spring on the 380 every 200 rounds. It’s known that .380 is borderline. Not meant to be shot a whole lot. Whalley has probably made improvements over time. 823FCC35-20CD-4C2D-A25B-CE11B3DD3F31.png

There's a difference in the frame sizes between NAA LR and magnums. I have a Short (same grip size as LR) just for shits and giggles, and I can't imagine actually shooting it regularly. My NAA magnum with plow handle grips is great fun to shoot. Revision CV makes slightly larger grips that feel great on my magnum--their LR version might make your NAA easier to shoot.

The 380 seecamp is painful don't even bother. Recoil springs last a few hundred rounds but you won't have to worry about that cause you won't be shooting it that much....🤣

My 32 seecamp would only function reliably if it was accompanied by a death grip- basically if your hand didn't hurt while you were holding it it was going to jam..... admittedly I owned it during the time where even seecamp was suggesting alternative ammunition because the Silver Tip was not working very well at that time....

They have a unique battery of arms. If the grips are too tight they won’t work. It’s recommended that you use Eezox, a dry lubricant because oil will send the slide down range. There is a ring in the chamber that has to be cleaned to a T so the delayed blowback will function properly. The older ones were finished with Bridgeport’s and older equipment so no two were exactly alike. Newer ones are done on 3 axis machines. They are more than likely to be better fitted. I had to stone burrs off the drawbar on mine. Then if you try to pull the trigger without a magazine you’ll bend the drawbar spring. They don’t lend themselves to limpwristing either. I unload mine fairly regularly to make sure the trigger springs back. I had the grips too tight and used too much Eezox without wiping it down all the way and it wouldn’t cycle through. I’ve never had a problem since. 100% now except for a dud round of PMC Bronze. Hope this doesn’t discourage people that want one and hope it helps people that own them. One other time I had a problem was when I used too much Eezox in the chamber and I put it together without letting the stuff dry and wiping it down. A round was stuck in the chamber. I had to press down on the extractor with my thumb to catch the rim of the cartridge. Definitely a learning experience with them. TS had some Silvertips recently and I bought a half dozen boxes. I shot a box through it and they worked well. They make a gauge now that measures the length of cartridges. I’ve never had to use one. Never had a problem with rimlock either like you can have with other .32 pistols. Doesn’t mean it can’t happen but they aren’t acceptable to it.
